Can't believe how much he improved granted still ugly in some scenes. but the difference between chapter 1 and 23 is big.

I hope he keeps on improving

Yeah. How Boruto was drawn in chapter 23 had me fanboying so hard. I honestly think I can say Ike shits on Kishimoto's artworks if he can do this consistently.

Ikemoto still isn't on Kishi's level in terms of art. but i can tell ikemoto puts more details into his characters well obviously because it's monthly

He did good I agree but he has a long way to reach Kishimoto let alone surpassing it don't reply because it's the truth.

It's true. Bring a panel of a character who you think looks half as good as what 123Fire has shown.

half? I put it better.

There are so many many more. The day Ikemoto's even does half of this, it will be a great day for the Boruto Manga.

Ikemoto is the king of closeups to hide his limitations. Dude is weak in perspectives and can't design fully detailed environments.

Attention that I wasn't saying the pic you posted isn't good, ofc it is but Kishimoto is considered one of the best Mangaka's ever and Minamoto teh first comment was just stupid.

Ikemoto's initial examples of his artworks were just way more realistic. You can see it in all his old artwork. If anything, Ikemoto actually simplified his artwork so it could be as plain as the typical manga's and his art was flawed because he wasn't adjusted to the simple style.

Ikemoto's Boruto shits on that whole picture. Right-click the image, open it in a new tab, and then take the url from that new tab to use as the image source btw.

There's a reason I specified an image of a character. Ikemoto's Boruto is still better than that Sasuke too. :coffee:

Possibly in a few hours to draw that single panel. Kishi's art can never be compared with the likes of mortals like Ikemoto. Kishimoto described in an interview the steps he takes to publish a chapter.

He does a rough draft of his outline then sketches it, this all takes him 2 days and that is if he is really lazy/tired. Kishimoto is a goat mangaka. He puts others to shame.

OT: Dude, Ikemoto should be ashamed of himself, how is one hired into the mangaka department if he takes a moth to draw a manga chapter and still fails at it. He needs way too much time to improve and should have taken some art classes before signing up for the job.

It's a shame because Kishi doesn't this franchise to burn in flames.

Also, I did forget something. Ikemoto's environments are just better, plain and simple. Look at the ground and trees.

Ignoring images where the environment is the focus, you will NEVER notice anything special about Kishimoto's environment. His environments are basic as hell even in interesting locations.

He can design Naruto and Sasuke side-by-side in 4 minutes.

If this is truly what you believe, then be it. I won't struggle to change your opinion, to each his own. Now i know that for you Ikemoto is a better Mangaka then Kishi.

I know you won't.:coffee: You can like Kishimoto's simpler style, but you can't deny Ikemoto shows stronger form and detail in his environments. Also noticing a trend where you push out harsher edits. LMAO.
