Lol so much hate for Griffith...and I agree with them. The guys a piece of shite. Was freally F’ed yo what he did and I’ve hated him for it ever since. Can’t wait until Guts ( and hopefully Kaska) ram his bowgun arm down his throat and let loose a couple of bolts.

Imagine being in the same situation as Griffith, he was tortured, crippled, sexually abused, starved, burnt, imprisoned for a year. Let's not mention how Griffith got mentally manipulated by the godhand/behelit.
A lot of people tend to forget that but Griffith got through a lot of shit, he was driven insane and mentally shattered much like Casca was.
Eclipse is such a masterpiece because it shows a reader Evil in a very relatable, logic form, but doesn't make it look a bit less evil than it is in reality. Yes, Griffith had reasons. I understand him and feel sympathetic towards him, and perhaps even would do same in his situation. But it doesn't justify him. Simply.
No gtfo griffith is a fag and deserves to be cut in 2 by the best character ever called Guts. He should have left casca alone as well. Casca pure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I haven’t forgotten. But it was brought on by his own ego. He couldn’t let Guts go of his own accord. Guts beating him led to one foolish decision out of despair of not being able to have what he wanted. It lead to him jumping the princesses bones, getting him and his men hunted, and his situation being tortured and stripped of everything.
Oh poor Griffith he lost everything. Everything he worked for. Never mind the road to that goal was paved on the broken bodies of others. Yeah know sympathy from me.
Like the old lady in the alley said. He paved the way to the top on the blood of others and when the time came when it was brought back to him ten fold....
He gave his company to the Ritual in bloody gory and demonic fashion. He can burn in Hell when Guts finally confronts him.

Yes, you'd get along with one another.
He's definitely up there as one of the most excellent villians for sure. He does whatever is necessary to achieve his goal he's a strong version of BZ. Having said that I haven't caught up or started reading again so I cant say how far he's progressed in that respect.
