Pssshhh
Throw your petty ideology aside. You have no clue how the world works. It is true that the US made some irreversible mistakes. Such as fucking up the rest of the Americas, the continents not US.
UK and France are notorious in fucking up places. the 7 years war and its effects and WWI and its effects. The whole deal with the Middle East now is due to WWI results. UK and France were to give them sovereignty but never did. They instead pulled a fast one. India being a shithole? another outcome from France and UK's fuckery after the 7 years war. And we all know what happened to Germany and what Germany did just to get back at them. Everyone here knows WWII.
America would have felt the blow too had it not been for the colonial revolutions that went down. Had they not strived for independence, US would've been India 2.0 or Middle East 2.0.
But the thing that's REALLY going on in the middle east is resource wars.
Russia and UK and US are not really interested in whatever is going down in the middle east. "values"? WTF? get out of here!
One: remember the recent Russia's annexation of Crimea? They want access to trade routes, to the ports. Just check out history, they've been doing that for so long so that they can get access to the waters.
The same thing with the annexation of those Middle Eastern nations from the Ottoman Empire collapsing. Trade routes.
Oil is also an important resource and due to the chaos that is transpiring in the Middle East, they are losing that trade. So they are doing this so that they can have oil.
You are all belly aching now but once we are denied of oil, we would have our civilization collapsing in on ourselves. Many modern societies are so dependent on oil that it would actually plummet us into whatever is going on in Venezuela and the Middle East and other nations just ravaged with domestic war and conflicts. It's due to resources.
These nations do not want to use their reserves. This is why they've heavily invested in the Middle East. To the point where they had to destabilize the entire region with wars and backing up both sides to fuel more conflicts and help it escalate.
What would you do if you were told that "either we do this or we have whatever they are having over here?"?
We all know the answer to that. If you are sane, you'd say: "BOMB THEM!"
