The last pic seems like Jiren is being pushed way beyond the limit he can go.. Freiza's hand or foot is on his left shoulder like he's suspending Jiren's movement..

Voice actors of 131 said they put alot of work into the final ep & it's better then 130.. I guess we'll have to be the judge of that comment!..

17 and 18 are great characters, but only for a certain amount of time. At some point, they get a little boring. As in, nothing about them changes. You just know what to expect.

They're greatly valued characters, but compared to the saiyans...they get old. Everyone's transforming and reaching new levels, while you're just sitting there doing the expected, looking the same 24/7.

Maybe they could use some kind of android "transformation" ...

The androids just needs different tech's added to their current arsenal. They are great character & could be greater with more techniques.. The saiyans are the same as far as same moves & knowing what to expect, except they have transformations & as far as Son, techniques.
I'd like to see them stay base form with their power fully accessible.. Transformations can get out of hand & just be thrown around.. We need more budokai martial arts, technique instead of power power power..

Hopefully in the movie but it doesn't make sense that he mastered a technique that he doesn't know how to activate. I know the manga will be different.

From the releases of Super director, the manga will be different plot wise & it's going damn good so far.. The anime is leaving us with that cliffhanger of maybe he can maybe he can't..

The words speak volume for a future series even after the movie..

The tyrant is alive & well an even promise to be the same dic he was before he died an on an on..

You wanna know what was thrown around? "Super Saiyan Blue", which undermineded the super saiyan god base form.

Transformations aren't "thrown around", as you expressed. Super saiyan "blue" was used/represented "poorly" for a period of time, but aside from that, there hasn't been any other transformation used irresponsibly throughout "super", at least as far as I can recall.

I honestly feel like, a part from new techniques, a transformation would "shock" us, cause new techniques are a good idea, but it isn't as impacting as a "transformation", which takes a characters abilities and appearance to a whole new level. You can have the transformations and a new technique along with it.How could you settle for anything less?

"Techniques" aren't EXACTLY what the majority are looking for. You can always use the same signature techniques, in a different way.Or even use labelless techniques, like Vegeta and goku, for example. They don't accredit the labelless techniques, obviously.

Are you saying that the battle between Goku and Jiren, is inspired by or comparable to Superman vs Doomsday?

I don't quite think so. I think it's either a coincidence...or a subconscious effort.

I can agree that transformations are great for appearance of the show & to pull people in but transformations in DB are not always connected to techniques..

Kaioken,TUI are techniques that really have nothing to do with transformations.. Son is the only1 really using techniques as it's described in the series..
ki blasts as BB,KMHMH ect it's just power thrown away if you don't subdue your enemy with it, they say the name of it as if it's a technique but in db lingo it's just a ki blast. (I could be wrong but it's how I took it from watching all theses years)

Not many characters are using what the series calls technique like the two mentioned above.. Transformations in this show as we know takes away from their stamina & if you face an opponent that forces you to transform then you will need all the stamina & power you need which is why transforming is not always the best route.
It's hinted by many throughout db history.

Hakaishins don't transform for their power, it's already to go but it's just raw power not technique like TUI or kaioken..

I hope he can stay ahead too but the writer hopefully will bring Veggie & Gohan to the table for more power of techniques..
