Ocular genjutsu beats Gaara but if you were to restrict susano'o and ocular genjutsu, then how does Ems Madara stand a chance?

I didnt restrict genjutsu, only susanoo.....And you can take madara's war taijutsu feats(although it was a stronger version of his real self).
He was using shunshin ever since cee stated "A's gonna use Shunshin to counter ms"......

Yeah that’s why I said that he beats Gaara with ocular genjutsu. Madara’s taijutsu feats were stopped by gaara during the war, so I wouldn’t go off that.
Of all the arts Madara is capable of physical arts is madara’s weakest point. He’s more of a ninjutsu based person because when he was using CQC against a few of the alliance, he had to stop one guy from attacking him using genjutsu and soon after gaara stopped his cqc completely. Itachi and Sasuke are the only ones who’s showed excellent taijutsu skills without the use of ninjutsu or genjutsu.

I believe gaara can win through Sand Pyramidal technique encasing him in a Cursed Seal...Sand was also too fast as it blocked A at his fullest...Madara cannot be faster than that and gaara has a desert full of sand to engulf the man.....do you think it'll go like that or..?

I don’t know. Remember that before Madara gained Ems (first time he used Susano’o on paper) he was fighting Hashirama as a kid all the way up to his 30-50s. Hashirama was also shown using wood style then too, and he shown almost as much fluidity (change in shape) of his kekkai genkai as Gaara did.
The only difference is that fire>wood but sand>fire, that’s why Madara was able to fight Hashirama all those years because his chakra was potent enough to produce enough claims as much as Hashirama can manipulate wood style.
What if that was Gaara? Do you think Madara’s flames are hot enough for Gaara’s sand or will sand smoother the flames like nature calls?

Gaara sand seems to be a bit special....it can move of it's own mentality....irrespective of Gaara's wish. And it resisted Mei's water without hardening...I'm forced to believe it has some form of immunity to naturally chakra made substances....though from Madara's immense fire style as expected from a leader might be able to penetrate it.
It could stop killing intent Ei and was hard enough to encase V3 Susano'O for a small amount of time...Madaea alone wont survive it I believe..
But as you said his speed and experience against Hashirama might let him grab the W...... in this match so it'll be very hard.
