Did Sanji's portrayal just get worse or... 3.. nothing special happened, but it's One Piece and this looks like it's finally(I hope) wrapping up. Nice display Germa did though.

Prediction: Daifuku is gonna intercept Sanji before he reaches Sunny, so Sanji throws Luffy towards/into Sunny and sets up the fight(Sanji vs Daifuku) next chapter and in chapter 900 we see Sanji get a monster power up and defeat Daikufu

would be awesome, I thought oven would be too weak to let sanji really develope into someone stronger. Is sanji goes against daifuku and wins, that's beast, if you called this, praise ya lol

It doesn't matter if Sanji gets stronger than his siblings in the future.
What matters is the present and since his introduction I have been saying that Ichiji will be strongest of the Vinsmokes.

This chapter proved it.

Nice chapter, have been waiting for Vinsmoke action so long. I love their interactions with Sanji now. I really hope they all make it out of this. I think they still will have a grand moment somewhere in this arc because we need to see Judge and their clone army again.

Their own special techniques are awesome, will be cool in the anime. Niji is fast as hell if he calls Sanji slow, so that is basically Oda saying that there is a lot of room for improvement before he can match the big shots.

the double spreads were amazing, I hope someone colors them. The covers are now introducing giants 1 by 1, finally a glimpse of Elbaf warriors. Biggy will have another reason to be furious on Luffy.

Luffy finally back on the ship, but still in the shit with that island in front of them end the fleet in the back. I don't think they can burst anymore, I wonder what they will do now.

Why though ? They were introduced as the strongest army that was their selling point to join the Charlotte family. What would be the point in introducing a group of fighters that are weaker than Sanji in a yonkou arc. It wouldn't make sense when they would come to the rescue to help them, if Sanji was stronger or faster than them. Daifuku, OVen, Yuen and all other commanders are no pushovers this is not like escaping from fodder marines, or Hody Jones' crew. These guys are all dangerous enough to kill Sanji and Luffy at this point.

The Vinsmokes show the gap they need to close before they can mess with a yonkou in the future. Because as of now Luffy is the only one that can stand up to a Sweet commander, but he went to the brink of death twice. Zoro is probably more on Oven and Daifuku level and Sanji is somewhere below that. So where does that leave the rest of the sh's ? They will all need to level up so that Luffy will take the yonkou on, Zoro, Jinbei and Sanji the generals and the rest takes family members. The vinsmokes are here now to play that role.

I think Sanji is the strongest, Yonji the weakest. Ichiji and Niji equals,

Hard to place Judge. He can either be the second strongest, or just below his #1 and 2 son, so that they surpassed him.

Same goes for Reiju, I wouldn't be surprised if she is the strongest of the siblings.

I am 100% certain that Sanji will attempt to fight Ichiji and Niji,get his ass handed to him and when the brothers are about to kill him Luffy will arrive to save the day. In every arc involving the Straw Hats Luffy always fights the final fight.

I don't really understand what his power is.

The sparking streak from his eyes indicates that he moved super fast. So fast that he left a trail.

But all around him are like laser beams puncturing the enemies, and it looks like it's coming from his hands.

The technique is translated as spark light fists, but he has open hands in the picture.

So I don't know if I should see this as a high speed punching technique leaving explosions/sparks like Ideo, or if he is shooting lasers like Kizaru/kuma from his hands.

She might be the strongest woman in the world, but she has never been in a situation like this before. We can literally see her lose weight and she's craving for a wedding cake like there's no tomorrow and the one she has set her eyes on, most likely is the cake among cakes, unrivaled in the world. We also know that when she's in such an eating frenzy, she can space out rather easily.

It's almost math: famished woman + best cake in the world = ?

That she would fall asleep afterwards is really not that much of a stretch, in fact it's so realistic that it not happening is much more unbelievable as it would solve the biggest plot problem of this arc: escaping without actually beating BM.

The premise of this arc was twofold: get Sanji back and make imprints of BM's poneglyphs, not to beat her. Hence they only went with half the crew. Even for OP it's too much to think they would be able to take her down by accident. So it comes to that they have to outwit her, which would leave the integrity of BM's power intact and the cake solves this issue. It's really not hard to imagine BM being so overly satisfied with the cake that she momentarily forgets everything else.
