On a scale of 0 to 10 how sad and betrayed he felt when Sasuke tried to kill him and then he got rid of the last Uchiha?

Did he truly wanted to take care of Sasuke?
Did he have the desire of at least one Uchiha following him after all the betrayal he felt in the Konoha founding period?

It seems that yes, he was being sincere trying to convince Sasuke to side with him.

He even laughed a little in the anime trying to light up things.

Later Hashirama even admitted the reason he spared Sasuke: he was very devout to his clan and loved the deeply -Hashirama's words.

Maybe killing these memories reassured his IT plan and drove him even more mad in his Rikudou Mode. But it sure hurt him a lot more than it seems.

What do you think?

Well doesn't Sasuke look like his younger brother izuna so it could be that he had a soft spot for Sasuke. But then again he killed Sasuke after he declined his offer without so much as batting an eye. while reciting Hashiramas words so don't think he was as fazed by him being a uchiha as so much he did what needed to be done to fulfill his plan such as the ninja way.

5/10

You could be right I think Madara gave Sasuke several chances and even talked to him. In the end Madara took him out thinking there's no reasoning with him and to affirm his resolve. Madara's concern would be around 5/10.

Batting an eyes? Could you please explain more?

But yes, he reassured his resolve reciting Hashirama's words - hardening his heart just like Hashirama did in VOTE.
But in truth he would be very happy if he sided with him. It would like a kind of redemption from old days.

As Izuna was the most precious thing to him, I would give a 8/10. Not 9 or 10 because he in truth never saw Sasuke before that, but not 7 or 6 because he still loved the Uchiha and wanted to do somehow what Hashirama did - and what still hurt inside him.

Sasuke actually tried to kill Madara, prompting him to stab him. There's no other way that could have turn out.

Madara was hardly fazed at all by killing Sasuke. I gave a 5/10 because he recited Hashiramas words to confirm his resolve however Madara didn't hesistate or give Sasuke a second chance in their final encounter. Sasuke only looks like izuna but he's not actually him nor does Madara seemed tied to the bonds of his clans men anymore

sasuke asked for it...
Much like in the VOTE battle. Hashirama didn't want to understand Madara's beliefs and made sure to get rid of him in favor of a greater good in his eyes.

Madara hurt by this ----look at his face when stabbed by Hashirama I never Madara do this face before :hyper: ------wanted to subdue those feelings.

And what's even more interesting - Sasuke was going to be stabbed in his back by an UCHIHA again.
And then he stabbed Sasuke right in the heart just like it happened with him.

It's so bitter I can't even

You are only wrong when you believe that he didn't still have bonds with his clan anymore.

Even when he was an old man he grieved over the fact he couldn't protect his comrades to Obito.

And in the war he even made time to TALK with Sasuke (who by the way was busy protecting the one who killed his family and clan SHAME but anyways...)

Yes, Madara still grieved over the fact he was betrayed.

Madaras rinnegan limbo was exceptionally haxxed. He could have offered Sasuke a chance to reconsider but Madara didn't show any mercy towards Sasuke once he obtained it. I honestly don't think Madara was as sad as some are proclaiming in this thread. Madara was still as cold blooded as ever

Of course the fact could not be avoided.

But blame it on Sasuke not trying to reason with Madara not even a little after Hashirama asked for him to do it.

Sasuke preferedto protect Tobirama who started his FAMILY persecution over the one who tried to protect it.

Ew.

At most, he was ambivalent.

We're talking about Madara that killed Sasuke. Not old Madara who was still chosen to defect from his clan so he had plenty of time to grieve over the matter or chose to go back. This only reaffirms my point. Madara only cared about his plan at this stage.

Madara didn't show any signs of sadness after killing Sasuke and he didn't hesistate once he had his rinnegan. he only wanted to use Sasuke for his plan as that was his main concern.

Nobody is saying he was crying rivers for Sasuke. He didn't even truly know him lol.

But it still hurt a lot to betrayed ONE more time for the clan (that was again in the Senju side) his whole family died to protect.
