Some people think Ao's trump card will be his Byakugan, but would a single Byakugan really put the odds in Ao's favor?
Would it make a big difference?

The last page preview said his trump card approaches Boruto. Makes me think it’s an actual person or some puppet tool.
Or maybe it’s Kajin Koji? But 123 thinks Inners don’t fight for some reason even though Kajin is a whole assasin

No, Konohamaru made a clear statement that his byakugan have no blindspot implying that even with team effort they would have difficulty time dealing him in close combat.
Ao manage to hold on his own against team 7 without his byakugan activated. Ofc the absorption device helped him greatly in countering ninjutsu which is a concievable use however he also used his own skills in taijutsu to fend for himself and able to perceive in every move except the shadow clone trick and was lured to pick up the Saber which drained alot of his chakra which IMO was a smart move.

You're right, stylez; byakugan sucks; it doesn't have an offensive move of it's own; no matter the chapters being over in Naruto shippuden.
It's as useless as jougan at this point. At least jougan has some hope.
Gentle fists cannot even destroy Ninjutsu; only pure chakra made substances; unlike what some die hard hyuga fans think.
OT: Though If Ao lost his Byakugan; why keep hyping it for so many pages? Does he have the Jougan to stock up for repairs? Gon' be interesting tho.

And i don't think so, but i think Kashin will see Boruto's seal and tell the other inners about it.
Which is weird because the Byakugan does have a blind spot unless Ao's Byakugan(or former) somehow doesn't.
They were hyping it? He can always have a super strong ninja tool or his genjutsu.

A trump card should be something that makes you much more likely to win, not straight up kill you and your opponent.

The reason for it being C0 type is because he said he's not a ninja and pretty much confirmed he's a tool for Kara. Ao dying and taking those who have info in Kara is a win for him just as Deidara's was for Akatsuki.

That's actually a good point, but that'd be a setback since they'll lose a trustworthy outer & they'll have to find someone else to track down the Vessel thus losing even more time.

Yes but Kajin Koji is still around and he has some sort of advanced power which allows him to tell things. In the last chapter he became aware of the konoha nin, their location and plan which he informed Ao about.

Well, if he had to send AO to recover the vessel then his ability or whatever isn't that great.

That might be partly right but i think, he sent Ao because the dude was a hunter nin, who tracked down and killed missing-nins for some decades.
