Standing firmly against the earth, Rentaro faced his opponent. The man before him was tall, probably at least 6 and a half feet. He wore large robes that dangled loosely around his broad shoulders and muscular build. His sharp face, spiky black hair, and single eyepatch were the finishing touches to this fierce looking figure. Nodding slightly at him, Rentaro began the battle. Rentaro sent chakra into the air around him to create four orbs of lightning, one in front of him, one to the right, on to the left, and one behind. Each orb was just beyond short range, but was almost instantaneously enter short range and release violent bolts of electricity inwards as they pulled each other closer to one another. Kenpachi would be in the center of all of the lightning, dealing significant damage to him. As soon as he had created the orbs, Rentaro wove the hand seals ram → snake, pooling chakra into the air 5 meters above Kenpachi to open a space-time portal from which a large quantity of sticky mud would spew out. The falling mud would make an aerial escape somewhat more difficult.

Description: The user will begin this technique by first creating four small lightning orbs on every side of the opponent in front, behind, to the right and to the left. The orbs upon their formation are very small and possess a weak charge but as they approach the opponent something odd occurs, this technique is truly a testament to one's mastery over lightning. The orbs of electricity all will upon reaching short range of the opponent begin to attract one another due to their opposite charge, infused within them by the user of this technique, they also increase in size. The lightning used to create this technique is destructive, upon reaching short range around the target, the orbs will erupt into destructive lightning much like chidori remei. This will happen all around the target at the same time crushing the target with destructive lightning on all sides and destroy anything they come into contact with (following lightning s/w). These explode inwards so as to not hurt the user, all shooting inwards from 5m on each side of the target.

Description: The user does 2 handseals (Ram → Snake) and creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of sticky mud (in all similar to that of Swamp of the Underworld Technique), covering them. The mud is very heavy and thick as well as adhesive, making it impossible to move if caught and easily crushing an enemy underneath. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

Kenpachi wasn't the type to ask questions so he simply took on the task and seeks to complete the mission and return immediately for his bounty reward.

In swift reaction, Zaraki makes a simple hand seal and forms a wheel of wind around him which protects him from the effects of the lightning with ease.
Even after the wheel protects him from the first attack, Zaraki wills it to move forwards towards the target as he moves away from the targeted area of the falling mud from above.
As he moves, Kenpachi would force his chakra into the earth beneath him causing five wires to shoot out with curls around his being to hold him in place. The wires have wind chakra imbedded in them causing them to be able to slice through flesh with ease. The wires curls around the calf, the torso and neck.

the user is inside the wheel, it defends against basic weapons.

Description: The user will expel chakra outwards,
from theur hands. The chakra will create a set of 5
wires, thin and sharp but strong, which will
immediately wrap around the opponent. While they
can be used on their own to powerfully constrict
the opponent, they can be used more efficiently by
adding an elemental nature to them. Strong
elements (Earth, Metal, etc) or Slicing elements
(Wind, Lightning, etc) will strengthen or sharpen
the thin wires, which will allow them to slice
through flesh and bone by the inherited
constriction force. Other elements may weaken the
body itself, allowing the said slicing effect (Fire
burning, Rotting elements, etc). Elements that do
not fall in these characteristics will simply add
their characteristics to the wires, but will only have
the tight grip of normal chakra wires, and not the
slicing property.
With one handseal, the wires can be shot from the
ground upwards, binding the target. The user can
gradually increase the sharpness and the tight hold
of the technique by hand gestures (when he uses it
from his hands directly as "whips") or by
maintaining the hand seal (if used from the
ground). The wires are only able to severe the
thinner limbs/weak spots and severely injuring the
thicker body parts (I.e Severe arms, legs, necks,
and Injure torso, head).
Note: If used from the ground, can't perform any
further jutsu until the grip is released.
Note: This jutsu can only be used thrice per battle,
at max 1 usage every two turns.
Note: The wires follow the element's and rank's
weaknesses and strengths.

Rentaro watched as his opponent was suddenly engulfed in a whirling wheeling of winds, effectively countering the blasts of lightning from all sides. As this happened, Rentaro reached into his ninja pouch and procured from it a small scroll. Tossing it 4 meters into the air above him, it would open up and summon forth a dragon of fire that would be aimed at him, not giving him time to run forwards. Rentaro would next crouch, getting into position for a specific Gyojin karate technique. He would thrust hand palms forwards 4 times in total (though at such speeds that it looked like he only did so twice) releasing 4 shockwaves. The shockwaves would crash into his opponent a mere moment after the fire dragon would, dealing enormous amounts of damage. The impact from the shockwaves would easily create a small crater in the earth below him, and send him back to long range with broken ribs and damaged lungs.

Description: The user squats while placing his arms to the side of his body, palms up bent in a 90 degree angle, then thrusts forward so fast that to any onlooker perceives that the user only did it one time with both arms. In reality, the user has actually pushed forward two times per hand, releasing a force that hits their opponent by concentrating on the water molecules around the palms. However unlike its parent jutsu "Jodan Bakusho", Hirate Renda's shock wave has a delayed effect of up to 2 seconds before the opponent feels the blows, leading him to believe it is a simple double palmed thrust barrage. This technique's raw power is so devastatingly powerful that the very earth surrounding the target will be shattered upon impact, leaving a vast crater. Furthermore, since this technique is based on the propagation of waves through water molecule, passing through a body of water before reaching the target will only increase it's destructive power.

Careful as always and having keen attention to detail, zaraki keeps his vision on the victim and tracks every possible action of his by heart. So, just as soon as the adversary removes a scroll from his pouch which he tosses into the air, the partial beast would react instinctively by slamming his hands on the earth and causing the ground in front of him (3x3m) to rise at high speeds in a manner that it would hit the flame dragon in its descent and cause it to explode as soon as contact is made. At the point of contact, by accessing his Bijuu's chakra and releases a portion of it into his body,
triggering his initial transformation. By doing this, red chakra oozes from his skin, engulfing him in a chakra shroud that resembles a miniature, trans-lucid version of his Bijuu with two tails hanging in the air, zaraki would move at high speeds faster than the opponent can track to his far right before arcing back in to reveal himself at the adversary side (entering short range from your left). As soon as enter short range (5m), zaraki would cast a simple illusion on the victim, causing him to be frozen, temporarily paralysed and unable to move any part of his body setting him up for the kill. With still the momentum from the dash, zaraki driven by his beastly instincts would drive his nails into the stationary man's throat aiming to pierce his Adam's apple with ease.
Because of the earth, you'll be unable to see me nor know if I've moved away for your second technique.

(Doton: Daichidōkaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core

rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the
ground, restricting their movements as they
struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough
to leave almost all enemies without a footing
(albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra
needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the
user will be able to use it only a limited number of
times.

Description: The jinchūriki accesses his Bijuu's

translucid version of his Bijuu ( although with little
detail ), with a variable number of tails ( depends
on which Bijuu it is ) and certain unique traits like
the Kyuubis ears or Hachibi's horns. The jinchūriki

fighting on par with almost any ninja and gets his
Taijutsu damage boosted not only by the increased
strength behind his chakra shroud but also by the

also gain more animalistic abilities, such as
running tremendously fast on all fours or viciously
clawing on his enemies. The chakra shroud
protects the jinchūriki from damage and grants him

( Genjutsu: Shibari ) - Illusionary Arts: Binding

Description: A very simple yet powerful paralysis
genjutsu. The user will cast an illusion which sole
purpose is to restrict and paralyze he target. The
technique can be cast on more than one opponent
at a time, though with the cost of power. The
stronger the user is in genjutsu determines how
strong their technique is. Non-genjutsu specialists
can only cast only use the C-ranked version of this
technique and use it on up to two others making
the hold D-rank for each individual person. Users
with genjutsu as their secondary specialty can use
the B-ranked version of this technique and cast the
jutsu on a maximum of three people. Users with
genjutsu as their primary specialty can use the A-
ranked version of this technique and cast the
technique on a maximum of three people.
Members who specialize in genjutsu are immune to
this technique being placed upon them on others
with a lower skill level than them; i.e a users with
a secondary specialty can't use this on a primary
specialist, only those of equivalent rank or lower
can be caught with this technique.

Rentaro watched his opponent slam his hands onto the earth in response to the dragon emerging from the scroll he had tossed into the air. A pillar of stone rose from the ground in an attempt to intercept the fire technique. While Zaraki's hands were still on the ground, causing the pillar to emerge, Rentaro focused chakra into the earth 5 meters behind him, creating a pool of water that took form as he wove a single seal, causing a large dragon to rise up from it and rush directly toward the man. The pool of water would be added to the overall mass of water that the dragon was created with, increasing it's damage (the creation of the water source and the water dragon jutsu happen in the same timeframe). As the pool of water formed on the ground, it would make quiet splashing sounds, however they would be almost certainly drowned out by the rising block of earth. The fire dragon would slam into Zaraki's pillar a moment before the water dragon would blitz him from behind. If it were to make contact, the combined damage between the sheer force of the jutsu and being slammed into the wall of earth would easily be enough to break his neck, spine, etc, killing him.

(Suiton: Andāwārudo no numachi) Water Style: Marsh of the Underworld

Description:
The user begins by focusing their chakra into either the air, or a surface, like the ground or a wall. In the case of the air, a large sphere of water manifests itself from the water molecules floating about, being up to 5 meters in radius, at minimum 1. In the case that the user poured their chakra into a surface of some sort, a flat layer of water in a circle up to 5 meters in radius, and at minimum 1, takes form. A splashing sound can be heard within short range of it as the water takes form. These bodies of water have the ability to act as a water source for a single jutsu that the user may perform, up to S rank. Once a jutsu has been used with this as a water source, it becomes part of the jutsu itself, giving it a +10 damage boost. Rentaro watched his opponent slam his hands onto the earth in response to the dragon emerging from the scroll he had tossed into the air. A pillar of stone rose from the ground in an attempt to intercept the fire technique. While Zaraki's hands were still on the ground, causing the pillar to emerge, Rentaro focused chakra into the earth 5 meters behind him, creating a pool of water that took form as he wove a single seal, causing a large dragon to rise up from it and rush directly toward the man. The pool of water would be added to the overall mass of water that the dragon was created with, increasing it's damage (the creation of the water source and the water dragon jutsu happen in the same timeframe). As the pool of water formed on the ground, it would make quiet splashing sounds, however they would be almost certainly drowned out by the rising block of earth. The fire dragon would slam into Zaraki's pillar a moment before the water dragon would blitz him from behind. If it were to make contact, the combined damage between the sheer force of the jutsu and being slammed into the wall of earth would easily be enough to break his neck, spine, etc, killing him.

As the dragon of water is revealed, the threat solidifies and Zaraki reacts by causing several reinforced walls of earth to arise in a row from his behind to the pool, aiming to crash into the dragon as it advances and several others would form around him like a barricade of earth hindering his opponent from seeing him.
By making the required hand seals, Zaraki then creates a tunnel in the ground under the protection of his walls, with which he escapes to Long range. Exiting from the tunnel, he throws a kunai with a smoke bomb at his victim with the intention of alerting him of his new location.
"Hmph! I'm holding back enough for you!"

I'm not exactly sure how having "acute peripheral vision" would allow you to see directly behind you, but it's fine and I'll continue. Also no worries about the exams thing. Finally, you didn't say which direction you travelled underground, so I'll say that you went backwards to long range.

Firstly, he saw a large mass of water spread out in various directions, flying every which way and carrying chunks of rock along with it. If the water dragon had hit Zaraki, it wouldn't have dispersed like it had, nor would it carry the rocks along with it. Secondly, Rentaro didn't sense his opponent come into contact with the water, which he had the ability to do as a Gyojin.

Good luck using a wall to defend agains this. He thought.

Paralyzed and being crushed, suffocated, and dragged deeper into the earth by mud, Zaraki would perish.

As the lightning dragon advances, Zaraki would tap into his beast's power and form a red chakra cloak around his being, it was time to get more serious.

Alright so to be clear, nagashi wouldn't counter swamp properly so the cave ceiling would still be collapsing with mud before you use thunder tornado. Furthermore, you didn't state in which direction you jumped to the safety of normal ground. Because of your description of how you were near the cave entrance still, I'll say you jumped forwards at me.



Hearing the sounds of electricity from below the earth's surface, Rentaro was able to pinpoint his opponent's general location. Deciding to wait for another clue to get his opponent's exact position, along with the fact that regardless of the lightning he heard, his opponent was still underground and thus in danger, Rentaro brought his hands close together, ready to weave seals. A moment later, a column of lightning in the shape of a dragon would burst from the mud as Zaraki jumped forwards out of it and through the air towards Rentaro. Shifting his stance so that his knees were bent and palms positioned at his sides, Rentaro thrust his palms forwards four times (though it would look like two due to the speed at which he did it) releasing four shockwaves at the airborne man. Zaraki's forward momentum would only aide in the shockwaves reaching him faster. Upon impact, Zaraki would be sent flying backwards short range from his position mid-air, and thus far range from Rentaro and into the mud once more. Zaraki would have some broken ribs and difficulty breathing due to the shockwaves.

This technique's raw power is so devastatingly powerful that the very earth surrounding the target will be shattered upon impact, leaving a vast crater. Furthermore, since this technique is based on the propagation of waves through water molecule, passing through a body of water before reaching the target will only increase it's destructive power.
