She's basically Sakura with a sharingan. I doubt her taijutsu is the strongest in her team lol and this is strictly based on the manga alone.

If you take the anime into consideration then her's is definitely not the best in her team.

Lately Sarada was performing well in Taijutsu even though it was one or two panels however I do believe due to team effort that Sarada was able to hit Ao from his blindspot was likely because he was nerfed. Ao noted that he's an old cripple man unable to fight taijutsu just to give us the idea that he's not in his prime.

I find this is to be a logical explanation.

He did go all out, as he said. The thing here is, Sarada handled him before he could do anything, or even use his gale palm.

You see, it took only 2 pages for Sarada to easily handle him. Imagine what would've happened if she had her Sharingan activated and were using her chakra enhanced punches. R.I.P. Boruto.
