As in, do you want Naruto and Sasuke to take a backseat eventually? whether it's through death, losing powers, being imprisoned.



It seems like people have a hard time dealing with the idea that the above could occur to Naruto and Sasuke. Probably because they're so strong. But I think the power scaling may stay the same or rise.

But I think with the new marks, Otosuki clan members, kara and the rise of technology in the world that a power shift will be inevitable.

We already have cannons capable of destroying moons. Nullification and storage of jutsu, prosthetic limbs, wall-walking boots and cybernetic augments among other things.

It feels like it's almost too late for that now the way the story is going. Unless they somehow make Sasuke and Naruto immortals in the future. I just hope we get to see more of Sasuke in the Boruto manga as he's the one suppose to be handling all the darkness that's going on in the world so we're bound to see something interesting happen.

I mean for the most part (recently), they have been in the backseat? They are only doing the roles only their characters can do. Naruto as the current Hokage and Sasuke as the Hokage-kage. Naruto hasn't done anything more than Hiruzen or Tsunade did when they were Hokage (the only ones we saw for a period of time). As far as involvement and protecting the village goes I mean. He's helped the village a lot more both before he became the official Hokage and after obtaining the position than any other before him tbh. Sasuke travels and protects the Konoha and the whole shinobi world with his travels in the Otsutsuki dimension for research and all so another attack could be prevented. He is the only one able to do that for now. Both of them are the only ones able to protect the whole world the way they do tbh.. so that's why they haven't been completely sent to the fodderwhocaresaboutthem corner of the series.

It's not impossible to step down from those roles completely, or die. The only hang up people have about the death possibility is the fact that they've shown to be so above everyone in power, especially someone who was the origin of all shinobi (who got nerfed, but was most definitely strong af even with the nerfing). They have even defeated members of that same origin clan in both The Last and Boruto The Movie. It's hard to imagine them succumbing to ninja tech and Kawaki as for right now, as that don't seem to be enough to bring down two gods. That's why people are hung up on the idea of them being killed off. Aside from that, I don't think there are objections to the possibility of them "retiring" or even dying, so long as it isn't an asspull.

So no, they are fine where they are.. and yeah.

You’ve seen me on two posts and feel like you have to say something to me, huh? What exactly did I complain about in those two instances you saw me? Aside from that though, how am I “acting like his preference to goku is something new,” when I clearly stated that “I’m still mad about Akira’s shit writing.” If you looked at the context I was referring to, we were talking about the Cell+Buu sagas. Not Super.

Yes Boruto is the MC and it’s his story and his name is in the title but Naruto’s name is still in the title too.

It’s should be about how Boruto grows in this new era as well as how Naruto molds it.

At least that’s how they should of done this show from a two person perspective back to back

That’s kind of the Nue arc was with the kids investigating the shadows Boruto sees and the adults investigating danzo/the root’s involvement, etc then it all comes together at the end of the arc/show
