They need to die in a good trappy mysterious way opening new directions to plot like jiraya did. With them there, no threat will seem big enough to make boruto interesting. If they are restricted from participating that will just lower quality of boruto as a series.
Also another thing is possible, that is sasuke again turns evil somehow and leads this new enemy organisation killing naruto. Just like how people thought minato was the leader of akatsuki back in the day.

Interesting. Sasuke should be rageful and emotional. That suits his character better.

I want Naruto and Sasuke to remain maybe get depowered somehow. Naruto loses Kurama and Sasuke his Rinnegan although its plot nerfed. If it remains as such then it doesn't matter if he keeps it.

I want Boruto to disappear for good and let Himawari replace him. They made him 1/2 Hyuga yet he's a big let down and a disappointment in that regard. Instead he's a wannabe of the farthest thing from a Hyuga like wtf. They're trying to do too much with him which is largely unnecessary and Himawari would be the ideal candidate to replace him. She could train with Hanabi Hime and we get to see more of her awesomeness.

Sarada should succeed Sasuke moreso Itachi who wanted to become Hokage it's only fitting an Uchiha Hokage has Uchiha style techs. She doesn't need to be a copy and paste of the previous Hokage been there, done that, seen that. I was glad when kishi wrote she had inherited Sasuke's talent that opened up the door for the potential being fullfilled. Although you never know what'll happen with the current writing style.
