I'm guessing ao is going to dip next chapter due to kajins order and I like ao's tool metaphor. It's weird we haven't seen any byakugan action from him I guess he'll save it for the climax of the arc.

• Decent pacing (they didn't fool around)
• Kara content
• Lots of action

I hope Ao uses his Byakugan next chapter so they can go all out on him.

Very good chapter!

Only dissapointment was Konohamaru’s new jutsu

The teamwork and surprise twist in strategy felt like part 1 naruto

very cool.

I’m expecting the Ao fight to end next chapter with some seal activation with Kajin seeing it

Either that or they beat Ao and then Kawaki debut

The appearance from the Kara guy was nice. It added a lot to the mystery of this Kashin Koji character and the organization.

I liked Konohamaru's new jutsu, but it doesn't really live up to what its name implies. Mitsuki using Shiden was weird, and I would've preferred a new jutsu for Sarada too, but hey, at least she got a hit in when no one else could alone.

I think this chapter also proves that Boruto is objectively more skilled with the Shadow Clone Jutsu than his father at the same age. Naruto could spam, but Boruto having the skill to make a clone that survived for that long after being impaled definitely says something. As for his idea of absorbing the absorption, that was...unorthodox, to say the least. I would've preferred if both gauntlet juts shorted out from the clash and the absorption jutsu exploding, but hopefully the Rasengan Boruto landed in Ao's Gaunlet is enough to break the thing, I feel like it holds him back from showing us what he can really do by himself, that being the Byakugan everyone's looking forward to.

I was promised a surprise though, and the lack of that is a bit disappointing. This alongside a couple other factors leave it at 4/5. Good, maybe great, but could be better nonetheless.

Next chapter Ao will most likely activate his Byakugan and force them to go all out on him.

I'm expecting to see new stuff from all of Team Konohamaru. If things get ugly, Sarada might upgrade her Sharingan and Boruto's seal might pop up.

It's about time we get real action in the Boruto series.

If they are willing to make things more interesting, Ao's Byakugan might be different from a regular one, probably scientifically modified or something like that.

That'd open the doors for robotic eyes that were created/modified in order to replace regular doujutsus.

He should have Rasengan'd Ao's face so this boring fight could 've ended immediately. I can't believe we have to wait another month to see Ao's boring ***. And he's just an outer of Kara. 100% each main Kara member receives screentime worth a year once they start fighting. :| the Art was great tho this chapter

I don't know wtf you're expecting when the author took great length to bring Ao back of all people and you're telling me that he should have been ended this quick after all the buildup?

This is the "Ao arc" which literally means he's valuable enough to be kept in for a little while which brings me to the next point.

Ao have been overlooked due to lack of importance in Shippuden but as soon as he made debut in Boruto and was revealed to be secretly working Kara, he literally becomes one of the most important character to date.

Because there are virtually two key points about Ao that really stood out as a character with his connection to the MC.

1. He has a byakugan which plays into the Hyuga heritage and may have any ties to Boruto origin power.

2. Ao was the former right hand man of the mizukage which is boruto main objective.

To add things up, Ao has always been a shady character without much of his backstory that have yet to be explored when he was famed as the "Heroic" shinobi back in the 3rd great ninja war and the bloody mist era.

There's alot of room and potential growth for Ao that he can bring to the story.

agree and i also prefer long fights over short ones. Ao is very fkin badass so far

Wow this one had some real good strategies. Still not sold on the whole technology thing as if they make a wrong move it will turn this into more of a star wars manga than one about ninjas. So far they're keeping it down but I'm still nervous.
