Eh, bright blue eyes are adored. I'd go with the eyes that glow red and are pitch black where red isn't. Rinnegan isn't even allowed to compete since it makes its users look like they're all ill or something.

the thing that makes it mostly sinister is its black sclera; the Iris bit adds even more ooopmh due to it always illuminating/pulsing, contrast to its black background.


What is odd though is that it is currently only one eye compared to the usual pair we get with people are are born with dojutsu. (Sasuke's one rinnegan and Kakashi's sharringan are add-ons)


Makes me think that the other eye is read and the opposite of pure, if it even exists.

Funny thing the sharingan had red moon parallels I guess borutos eyes will have moon parallels aswell

One of my favorite scenes is of itachi with a moon eclipsing him

Well I do think the jougans a upgraded byakugan and jougan just means pure eyes and hanabi was also stated t9 gave pure eyes by toneri

when we always say an upgrade of an Dojutsu in Naruto it is more like returning to its original form

since the Rinnegan/RinneSharringan predates the Sharringan as the said dojutsus origings (the chakra tree)

similarly the tenseigan means reincarnated eye, so for it to be a reincarnation of an eye then the thing it is imitating was an eye that already existed


maybe Momo will know something instead of being vague like in the manga

I only see the sharingan as sinister when strained by ms I actually think shins eyes look more sinister

I actually think the sharingan and rinnegan looks pretty to me and doesn't look visually threatening

Naruto kyuubi eyes look more threatening

I only see the sharingan as sinister when strained by ms I actually think shins eyes look more sinister

I actually think the sharingan and rinnegan looks pretty to me and doesn't look visually threatening

Naruto kyuubi eyes look more threatening

indeed blood veins does make something look more sinister

not sure if that would ever happen to an eye were it is black and not white though lol

Maybe glowing veins pop out seems like that would make the jougan look even more cool

Jougans definitely my favorite dojutsu design no far
