[VS] Tournament to pirate king Level 2: Shanks v. big Mom

We have big mom and shanks! You guys know what to do! And as usual....

The rules are simple!

Vote on who you beleive will win in each particular match up! It does not matter what the circumstances are! The character who wins the most votes and defeats their opponent gets to move on to the next level! Last man standing is crowned Pirate king!!

REMEMBER:
1-discussion about match ups is encouraged!

2-characters will have 24 hours to tally votes!

3-After the 24 hours are up in the case of a tie, the next vote wins! (For anyone who waits to be the tie breaker I will obstain my vote to break the tie if need be)

4-characters should be judged based on whatever the majority decides. For instance if you beleive weevils hype is enough to beat his opponent and the majority agrees with you then that is the answer. If everyone decides to use pre time skip luffy then that is the decision of the majority! So with that said, no opinion is too far out there!

THE WINNER SHALL BE THE UNDESPUTED PIRATE KING UNTIL OTHERWISE DETHRONED!!

Big mam has shown to have a bad portrayal so far because right now her weakness has been exploited but Big mam is as physically strong as Whitebeard. Whitebeard is better than Big mam though.

i dont doubt this , yes in 24 hour fight BM is greatly weakened(hungry/more than 60%of her body mass is gone based on look) , full power BM i could see being stronger than WB or all the emperors by a hair but after a hr/2hr mark her power probably drops faster than chojis butterfly jutsu in p1.

So how does the WG know that Kaido is currently the strongest thing alive? If all the other Yonkos (and Admirals, Dragon, and Mihawk if you have them on the same level as Yonkos) are practically equal to each other, then the WG would have no way of noticing the tiny gap between Kaido and the rest, especially since Yonkos almost never fight each other directly. The gap between Kaido and other top tiers must be noticeable in order for Kaido to have the title of WSC. Not to mention that it would make no sense narratively for Oda to hype up Kaido as the WSC and then proceed to make the title almost pointless by making the gap between him and other top tiers miniscule.

Nope, he isn't pirate king because he doesn't wanna be pirate king. He was on Roger's crew, that would also mean he may know the answer robin declined from Rayleigh.
