[VS] Tournament to Pirate King LEVE1: Luffy v. Kaidu

It has just been confirmed that in the middle of our current matches a young pirate by the name of straw hat luffy has jumped into the ring! He was quickly met by Kianu of the thousand beasts! What a strange occurrence! I guess thecouldnt wait to fight!

REMEMBER:
1-discussion about match ups is encouraged!

2-characters will have 24 hours to tally votes!

3-After the 24 hours are up in the case of a tie, the next vote wins! (For anyone who waits to be the tie breaker I will obstain my vote to break the tie if need be)

4-characters should be judged based on whatever the majority decides. For instance if you beleive weevils hype is enough to beat his opponent and the majority agrees with you then that is the answer. If everyone decides to use pre time skip luffy then that is the decision of the majority! So with that said, no opinion is too far out there!

THE WINNER SHALL BE THE UNDESPUTED PIRATE KING UNTIL OTHERWISE DETHRONED!!

For this game the teams have been split into two brackets!

And introducing the TEAM B match ups!!

Whitebeard v. Dragon = Dragon
Kizaru v. Mihawk
Weevil v. Rayleigh = Rayleigh
Blackbeard v. Marco = Blackbeard


These match ups have been chosen at random by an app bracket maker! So it is completely by random and by chance!

I know the manga said in a one on one always bet on Kaidou but that was also translated as if you're looking for a fight find Kaidou technically but anyway this isn't in the manga context it's can be PK and Luffy will be PK so how can I vote any other way?

Luffy can't solo a Yonko commender but 5 people think he can go on and beat Kaido...lol we do remember what Big Mom said to Luffy about beating Kaido right??? Right now Luffy isn't Yonko level, he is barely commander level, give him some time, he will get there but for now this fight would end with Kaido winning it easy-mid diff

If this were a typical VS I'd agree with you but the OP positioned this as a "find the best suited to be PK" vs and in that regards I don't see any vote besides Luffy. Others may not agree, but that's the basis I'm operating under, each character at their absolute best, not a vs battle based on current levels. If this were an in manga scenario at curent level then absolutely, Kaidou, but if we're voting who we think is most likely to get OP then Luffy.
