And that's why Whitbeard knew Rogers had a son, right? Because Rogers knew him well enough to know WB would take good care of this information let alone son. It wasn't the fact that Ace was Rogers' son that sparked his interest it was his tenacity and news that wanted him in his crew ever since he turned down the warlord position. Besides that he would've treated him like any other real threat pirate "cough" crocodie "cough."

True but we know WB and Roger were chummy to a degree because Roger offered to give WB Raftel/OP location, his prized possession. That's basically him choosing WB to follow him so he thought well of him. Plus we know WB ended up taking Ace because he was Rogers son and was grooming him to take his father's position.

Rogers already conquered the seas and was already dying.
And as for grooming Ace, we learned this after the fact not before. According to Sengoku or Garp (i think even Doflamingo) mentioned that Wb left the crown in respect to Rogers and what he has done. WB planning to use Ace as the next King because of bloodline was totally unexpected and pushy for a second coming Rogers. Garp loved his family regardless of being a marine or pirate and that's what seperates WB from Garp.

Because he is a pirate, hence the point I’m making. Whitebeard will not show the same kind of love if Ace was a marine officer. Garp on the other hand will not have that kind of bias he still loves his son who is in the opposing side.
On top of that it’s really dumb to put a new born baby in a pirate ship too.

WB would have done it too, he's just trying to say he wouldn't because it fits his narrative. Like WB would turn Roger down if he came to him and gave him the same speech he gave Garp. "WB you're the only pirate who could stand with me, make sure my baby stays safe after they kill me" you really think he'd have said no? Plus Roger may not have known it at the time but Garp's shown to put authority before family.

The bandits that was considered a family with a motherly (kinda) figure and father figure to take care of the child? I would choose a house full of bandits then the New world full of merciless killer anyday. And another thing you should know is that Baby Ace lived with Garp in an actual house before meeting Dandan.

More importantly WB would not treat Ace the same if he became a Naval officer.
