On topic: Sasuke clearly states he wants to atone for his sins with his own body and his own eyes because maybe in that way he’ll learn something new. Not exactly a revolutionary or difficult thing to notice in the manga. He literally says it.

The entire lesson for pretty much every character associated with Orochimaru is that they stop going to extremes to change themselves into people they’re not.

So unless Sasuke decides to go back on his conviction I don’t think he has any plans to replace his arm. In his eyes he’s still atoning for his sins.

In a way Sasuke admitting defeat also symbolized an abandonment of his lust for power and revenge. He knew full well that he’d be more than capable of surviving in the wilderness with one arm whilst doing penance. It’s also mentioned in Kakashi Hiden that cultivating Hashirama’s Cells is very very difficult. May have been Sasuke felt he’d already troubled everyone enough and it didn’t fit his plan for redemption.

Sasuke mentions still wanting to surpass Naruto in the Momoshiki arc so hopefully we can see them fight one last time. It’s not a high probability but still there. It’s just not as hype if they’re not trying to kill eachother though...well Sasuke trying to kill Naruto.

The manga isn’t too terribly clear on where the line between chakra and cellular structure is but we can assume they pretty much go hand in hand.

This is why Naruto’s Rasen-Shuriken is classified as a Forbidden Jutsu. The destruction it caused on a cellular level was enough to destroy the chakra network completely. Even his own damaged body part from the recoil.

EDIT: It’s been so long I forgot the details but now that I think about it the manga confirmed that the chakra network is interwoven with every cell in the body in the same chapter Naruto used the Rasen-Shuriken.

So yes, the point of cultivating the cells from a Shinobi is that their genetic makeup also includes their chakra pathways. The chakra pathway system then is no different than your circulatory system.

Full kurama will only raise Naruto's reserves preta can deal with that relatively easily. I don't think we'll see a second fight though.

My personal opinion is Sasuke and Naruto should've lost some power ups during the Momo fight that way we could have a decent manga without overly powerful characters.
