Madara still has Mokuton and Sage Mode here which would allow him to sense his enemies. He doesn't have his Sharingan and Rinnegan powers besides Susanoo which means he could spend more chakra on using Mokuton which involves the Wood Dragon that absorbs chakra as well as Mokuton clones. Mist won't help them when he could sense them.

They are physical in form but spirit in nature. The only sword which can be broken is kubikiribocho because of it's in ate quality to regenerate with blood. The swords can cut anything except things like tailed beasts and tailed beast chakra. Gedo mazou is just the shell of jubi. Not a beast. It can be broken by samehada.

Samehada cannot be broken or destroyed for this matter. Suigetsu said none of the swords of mist can be broken. They are physical in form but spirit in nature.

Gedo mazo is as durable as a tailed beast if not more because it is still a beast regardless of its state. Gedo mazo crushed a mountain and two tailed beast were unable to destroy it themselves. A few swords are not cutting the state as big as Perfect Susano’o and durable as a tailed beast.

I never forgot the edo mazo is kaguya. you did. Samehada had the power to drain the 8 tails to zero. meaning any tailed beast bomb is less then the full power of the tailed beast is going to be absorbed by the Samehada.

Jinin has Kabutowari that can break mountains, Ameyuri has Kiba that can shoot lightning blast, Kisame has Samehada that can absorb chakra/life force with one touch, Kushimaru's Nuibari wire, Mangetsu's twin sword can fire chakra blast, and Jinpachi's bomb blast it's as big as Perfect Susano'o.
