I'll admit that screaming for ASS-PULL is a slightly better form of anger management than engaging into massive school-shooting, but it's still worse than pretty much anything else.

We're currently trying to establish a principle that can be applied across the board. Then you can apply it to every aspect of a story and decide whether it's an ass pull. So we need a definition of ass pull that can be agreed upon.

pulling something out of thin air with no previous inclination towards that, something that defies the current set axioms defined in a series and possibly even stuff that doesnt make sense but played out to. my examples were plot inconsistencies aswell as asspulls.

I can agree with that, but my point is not everything has a foreshadowing, some things get introduced then expanded upon or reused after that point. It doesn't make everything new we see without foreshadowing an ass pull as some would claim. Not in your case but in others's cases they may view something as an ass pull because they've developed pre conceived notions about things(how they are or should be). Now unless the author explicitly stipulates a condition then breaks the condition something can't be qualified as ass pull.

- Foreshadow of Kakashi taking the role of "Jesus" and Itachi as the "Crucifier", a clean foreshadow to the future of Genius kishimoto sama, depicting the fact kakashi would eventually save the world and he did just that in the nick of time and saved team 7 from Kaguya who was about to kill Sakura.

- Deidara compared Kakashi's sharingan usage to Itachi, who was called the best Sharingan user in history. Clean foreshadow again.
- Obito's soul exists in his body, sharingan is the eye of the heart or feelings and thus Susano'O can be transfered that way. Also what was kakashi famous for? Copying jutsu. Could he have Copied Susano'O, cemented from the fact that his Susano'O has a cut mark in its eye, proving the Susano'O is his and his own?
- Kakashi got six path power. What is a Susanoo?
