How can Sasori blend mental energy without a brain?

All Chakra, and functioning comes from the heart in naruto. Kakuzu most likely doesn't have a brain either. His body is made of stitches, just 5 hearts.

I think the Uchihas are the only ones known to have massive amounts of mental energy coming from the brain reflecting through the optic nerves.

I thought by now it'd be a given that physical science doesn't really apply in Naruto, especially since Kakuzu could have about 4 hearts all functioning at the same time, with his blow flow being impervious to that phenomena.

Actually if I recall correctly, it's spiritual and physical energy that makes chakra, not "mental" per se. I think they make reference to that which would be tangible (physical) and that which would be not (mental / spiritual / magic, whatever). don't focus too much on mental = brain, think about it more as spiritual.

I know that mental energy can also be spiritual energy which can go anyway you take it. That or Sasori has a seal because how does a puppet think or speak without any sort of mental capacity?
