We didn't realize it before because we weren't able to figure out Mitsuki's strength by just reading one shot manga.In today's episode I realized that Mitsuki is strong Af his speed is so damn fast. if Shino was able to fight Mitsuki in his sage mode without using his full power and damage him he's strong as hell.

Shino holding himself with Mitsuki while Mitsuki goes all out his might, later in weaked states fighting Kakashi. Aburame is one of konoha noble clan, no doubt.

You saw how that sage mode was presented in the recent episode, and you should also KNOW that version isn't comparable with the version used during battle with shino.That's not genin level skill...he was able to bypass both log and orochimaru, and BREAK through a barrier with speed and force...even if it were all planned.Whatever he revealed to shino, wasn't the sage mode kishimoto created...that's for sure.

Whatever he showed shino, was obviously filler and misrepresentation.
