the wording they use is odd..





i mean you can technically demand faster speed but that doesnt mean it wont come at a higher price, unless im missing something. just that the option now has to be available, in places it wouldnt have been before. i still think its a good move though on their part but it will make it harder for providers to make sure outer limit places still get the same speed as inner cities

really they should pass net neutrality as a right for citizens. doesnt seem like this stops it from ever being taken away from them, that can still happen with this being a right they have. we should also add net neutrality to the constitution, i think it makes sense in this era and how apart of our society its become
Yeah, you got it right. It basically means that while everyone has access to the Internet, you can also get higher speeds from you ISPs if you choose to. If they do not provide broadband service in your area, you have the right to demand that they do.
