he brought peace and order and there was destruction for thousands of years
lololotrorololHogaromo is full of himself![]()
lololotrorololBruh, really?! :lol
If you look into it.Haven’t you seen brother nations fight because of a belief?
True. And Hagoromo did create Nishuu, which is basically a religion within itself.
I barely see people around justifying Indra's actions. Hagoromo was a bad father nevertheless and even more so a really bad written character.
How was he a bad father ? BZ was the one that brainwashed Indra unknowingly, the same happened to Madara and Sasuke you saw them intitially good and end up giving into the curse of hatred.
Because Hagoromo saw something was wrong with Indra but never question that and just tossed it aside like nothing.
He even knew about Sharingan and still did nothing but just sat back and watching how will things work out while Indra was falling into darkness little by little.
Well some people like to sulk and hate till death. Indra could continue beyond death so it got worse. Why look far? People have made a habit of hating on some manga character and even after 3 years of manga ending continuing their hate mongering on next generation too. Some keep returning it with new lives aka alts to continue their missions day after day since 2011-12 for the same old bashing. So of course some can feel a connection with Indra too.
You want bigger real life examples? Take a look at Middle East.
According to Hagoromo, Indra lead a solitary life, and Hagoromo also stated that he didn't pay any attention to Indra. Combine Indra's preference to work alone with Hagoromo's unintentional neglect and you get a kid who starts despising his dad and brother. Also, due to Asura's lack of skill, Asura became the child Hagoromo paid attention to and bonded with, combine that with the fact that everyone came to love and choose Asura, Indra probably felt alienated.
Then, Hagoromo is near death and not only gives Asura what Indra was more than likely waiting on as recompense for the lack of attention and investment he was getting from his father, but he also gives Asura his power's and expects Indra to cooperate as if this was some team effort the whole time.
I'm not justifying Indra's extreme actions, but I'm not convinced that a mere Sharingan would make him want to kill two people he was close with. He was more than likely unfamiliar with his brother and father, and the following circumstances just made it easier to hate them.
Oddly enough, his talent and Kekkei Genkai caused him to be overlooked unlike his future descendants who would greatly benefit from being Indra's descendants.

According to the Manga...Hagoromo watched over 'both' of his sons (didn't specify whether he did this distantly or had close relationships with them)
He didn't lean towards Ashura's way until Ashura had awakened the power of Bodily Chakra and he obtained the power to rival Indra 'on his own'. (Indra's level during this time is unkown...for all we know he could've only had a Mature 3 tomoe Sharingan.)
Then the Sage created the Bijuu (committed Suicide) and was rendered unable to move...while incapacitated he named Ashura his successor and Indra disagreed.
Black zetsu didn't go active until Hagoromo was already either bedridden or dead. That is when he started manipulating Indra.
Now assuming...just assuming...That Indra was anything like his descendants and ran away as soon as things didn't go his way. Then Hagoromo wouldn't have an opportunity to talk to him (being disabled and all) so he left the Stone Tablet before he died...which Black Zetsu changed anyway.
I see no justification for Indra...although, similar conflicts have happened in real life...still does not justify those actions.
People like to point fingers but at the end of the day, its You. YOU choose to be selfish. YOU choose to hate. YOU choose to take it out on innocent people. YOU. Indra. YOU Sasuke. No one else.
I found this immensely hilarious how you connected endless fandom hate to uchiha cycle of hate
I would be like Naruto and pick the peace route if hating wasn't fun
So factors that play into their decisions don't mean anything, we just get to throw all responsibility on the person for everything if they just happen to lash out, provocation be damned.
He said he didn't pay any attention to Indra, implying that his attention was mostly on Asura. He also claims that Asura constantly needed help from others, while Indra did everything alone. These two facts are manga facts. I'm not justifying shit, I'm just saying that it's not Indra being an ass-hole that caused this but indirectly caused, alienation.
I never said Hagoromo played favorites to Asura and his way, I'm just saying that due to Indra's preference of being alone, and Asura's need for constant assistance, Hagoromo would naturally end up knowing Asura and his ideals better than Indra. It's glaringly obvious that Hagoromo doesn't understand or know Indra, as he entrusts peace only to Asura's side.
When Sasuke decides to do things his way, Hagoromo says that he trusts Naruto to make things right before he leaves, despite the fact that maybe Naruto/Asura's path isn't the way. He shows a little bit of nuance when he admits that if the world prefers Indra's side then he's just selfishly standing in the way of that, but he honestly couldn't give a damn about nuance, he just cares about which side sounds better.
And despite the fact that he created the most amazing methods to peace ever, he doesn't teach Naruto or Sasuke the basics of Ninshuu before he leaves and merely throws his powerful abilities at them and expects them to figure something out.
