[Suggestion] The Healthy State of the Forum

I know some major parts of the forum is going through construction right now and thats why most people aren't active right now but it gets to the point where you realize... wait a minute... i've seen these 5 people before constantly for the past week or so and no one else. I'm not shitting on the numbers though, having this many people active at all times is not a easy feat to do. In the general idea here, the suggestion part i mean, is if not only the staff but the members too advertise around the internet, anywhere naruto is discussed that way we might actually get a few more people in here. I'm not gonna lie, its not only tiring but worrisome having to see the same people online every day and no variety of new individuals, even today the ''new'' people are just actually old members coming back to just check things out. We get a new actually active member once i'd say every few months but i'd like to see that change to once a week or even once a day or even up to 100 times a day a new member joins our community.

Any thoughts on this? Could this happen if we put the effort into growing a more larger community?

It's not our job to advertise for Narutobase to get new members. :| That is the job of Narutobase.

We can offer suggestions to attract new members, but honestly, there is not much you can do with a forum for manga/anime.

What exactly are you suggesting? Would it be for us to advertise NB as the solution to why we "aren't" an active forum? I guess it's a 'suggestional'. My point on this is, "people come and go, as long as your having a great time, then whether it's 2 or 3 people left, that's fine. At the end of the day, people visit the site and determine if they want to partake or not.

I doubt this site will get the numbers it used to. Naruto is over, and Boruto isn't enough to come back for most. I wish this site had more variety though. Anytime I post anything but Naruto related stuff it is ignored, but any topic that has either been talked to death or is clearly a troll becomes a hot thread. I'm over it tbh

personally i like smaller communities better. even in my life offline i hang out at and go to the same places, hang around and see the same people. if someone wanted to murder me they wouldnt have to try that hard to find me honestly

also marketing is a mofo. i did it for myself for a while and luckily dont have too anymore

Well i think personally it would be cool to have different members join, either it be discussion or roleplay. I understand though, the majority of the members here want it to be closed off or small but i think it would do the forum some good to grow just a bit. I mean, if you don't want to help out thats fine, i mean the website has been up for a really long time anyways but in my opinion that doesnt give the excuse to have it just die out sooner than it needs to. After all everything is getting a new shade of paint soon so why not celebrate by inviting someone to the forum so they too can have fun with it?

if you havnt realised yet, there is in fact a great number of guests that visit the site everyday...its just that its only up to them if they wish to register or not.

when i joind here there was alot of active members never seen same post twice in roll or keep up with the threads. im guessing that over time they just moved on to othere sites or manga and or anime, Or just got sick of all the bickering and 1 sideness of some. i my self left for a year or so, and may leave again as theres alot char bashing and member bashing going on here.

Naruto is need and not many people are interested in discussing burrito, at least for me.

I honestly don't other than advertisement but maybe we could somehow reduce the divide that we have between the roleplay section and the rest of the forum.. i understand that they're two different things and some may not want to participate in some parts but its like majorly divided, i've seen some say they actually ''hate'' the other parts either it be the people or the concepts or systems that it has. Not sure how to go about reducing such a divide in the forum as a whole though, but i have seen people join the forum then proceed to go into either discussions or roleplay and then a few weeks later switch to the other, not because it wasn't ''for them'' but it was because either like sauce said previously ''because of the topics'' or like some who pick to try roleplay ''not good''

well if they're really interested in discussing a specific topic that isn't already being discussed then they're more than welcome to make a new thread in the said section. and if they dislike the posts being made in the threads that is why we have the report system. tbvh i will be very thankful if more of the those who dont discuss simply because of the trolls/unappealing discussions actually start engaging in those sections themselves because it will actually help overshadow those who make the section unappealing

I don't think NarutoBase will ever grow anymore epecially considering it uses Naruto series in general to attract new membes.A whole new story if the name is changed but I doubt it will ever happen.
