Last year at my best friend's older brother's funeral. He was giving a eulogy about his brothers life and how great of a person he was, and he started talking about this one childhood memory he had of him. It was something about them playing at a park or their backyard, and him hurting his ankle not being able to walk. His older brother had him wrap around his arms around his neck to carry him on his back, but they were around the same size, so his brother struggled to carry him, the entire time he was carrying him, his brother kept repeating "hold on, dont let go, we're almost there...", and midway through he bursted in to tears, which ****ed me up pretty bad and had me and everyone else crying. There was not one dry eye during that procession.
I hadn't cried in years since that day and forgot how painful and hot tears were. I almost cried midway through typing this cause of how heavy that story felt. Crying feels good man.
