I actually start to like the Boruto Series. It took a while but I'm getting more and more hyped each week.

It's like the writers can read my mind. Next week my favorite female characters fight one of my favorite male characters.

I'm pretty sure Boruto vs Kakashi gets 70% of the screentime.
The 30% is probably shared among the rest so even if it's like a 2-3 Minute fight between Sarada and Konohamaru I'm looking forward to it.

I like short battles because that was the actual concept of a shinobi battle. It was stated in Part 1 but every battle lasted like an hour or so.

I get that, it’s just personally I feel the studio and writers are trying to please 2 different audiences and sometimes the show suffers for it, imo

I think the fights in naruto seemed long because of technical explaining they used to do(which I loved) i don’t think the actual time for most fights bar war arc passes like 10-15 min tbh

Hopefully we get to see Boruto use an elemental 'aoe' jutsu like Sasuke's fireball in his CQC matchup.

The formula will probably be the same, he already used the Sasuke combo against Iwabe too.

In his novel the villain is a revolutionary who intends to liberate shinobi from the Daimyo and restore what it means to be a powerful ninja instead of working missions and oddjobs. Shikamaru says "sorry to steal your dream from you" and understands that he, the alliance and Naruto have to create a world so safe that there is no need for ninja.

De-militarisation, basically. This is also why he babysits Naruto into the Hokage seat, because he knows he's the one to do it.
