Two facts about Boruto's dojutsu that may or may not mean Boruto may be OP.

Pretty much for now it's an unknown and everything is speculative. For now it's lesser than the byakugan. I perosnally think the seal is what will power the Jogan and enhance it to appropriate levels where it may rival a Byakugan eye.

the thing with this is that Kaguya was the pinnacle for Chakra fruit rinnegan consumptions


but Boruto's eye is unearthy to the point that no other being below Kaguya or even Kaguya herself had it

meaning if they play their cards right it could be greater then Rinnegan since Momo and co didn't care about the rinnegan but actually blabbered about Boruto's eyes

Yeah Boruto's Dojutsu I can see being in the same tier as Tenseigan, or maybe below it.

Since it's Toneri related, it's going to be hack.

I think it is above it and I am confident about my assumption, especially when you take in word play with the overall list of dojutsu names...

In lore you would also assume that the names of all the dojutsu with the exception of the tenseigan and the dojutsu Sasuke saw in his Shiden book, that the rest were likely used by Kaguya before anyone else on earth.


Which means that Kaguya most likely knew the names via the OOtsutski clan then being the one that actually named them, the arguement gets grounded when Momo spouts both the byakugan and rinnegan names without ever learning it from earthlings.


This means that the meaning or root wording of those dojutsu names have significance and while Jougan means Pure eye the Tenseigan known by Hamura means reincarnation eye. So one would assume that you would have to have a previous eye in order to be a reincarnation of it.

Boruto dojutsu's destiny even gets even more hype when Momo gives Boruto a curse seal due to his eyes bloodline alone and even more so when we learn that there are more Ootsutski's out there and that via plot, writing and overall hierarchy structuring one would assume a high class member of a clan wouldn't be doing simple grunt work like Momo and Kaguya.


Lastly add the fact that the series is called Boruto and you would realize that Boruto's end game isn't Kawaki.


I have a feeling the eye will outrank the Tenseigan and the Rinnegan.

i will dislike if they make boruto manga and anime just like naruto (ie all about eyes power) . it pretty boring . the story about ninja world not about eyes contest .
