He helps with backgrounds, he designed Zabuza/Haku, and other stuff.

Like they're design and not surprised it's his idea to make haku look effeminate if that's his contributions it's not that good

No, ike I think, toward the bottom. He says the boruto kawaki scene was kishis idea, and last minute, so when that part comes up again, there might be some changes

Well it would explain why boruto looks like he has the same clothes on. I think he just meant what they’re wearing. Imo both of them could use a bit of a tweak in the clothes

I don't mind tweaking of the designs tbh. Though it makes you wonder because we've gotten renditions of their outfits since July, in the Anime.

But Ikemoto's designs tend to be overall different than the Anime anyway. I would like maybe a hoodie/cape mix, maybe his own sword (I don't mind Sasuke's, but a hilt change could be cool), but idk what else.

I don't know what to do. They would either:

1. Have to change his normal clothes to give him something different

2. Change the cape or remove it altogether

3. Maybe change his hair style/scar

Not a fan of kawakii facially and his hair so wouldn't mind that being tweaked and making borutos under outfit more unique.

Well, his whole job was "drawing crowds and background figures, adding the white to speed lines, highlights, and characters' eyes, and whiting out any art that goes out of the panel and into the gutter, as well as putting stars in the night sky, and adding in half-tones." He also designed Hiruzen's battle armor.

He was also Kishi's chief assistant and yeah, Kishi is a fan of his art style. Not to mention, they're friends.

Yeah that sums it up. If he's going to entrust someone to Naruto, it probably would be the guy who worked with him the longest on the project.
