Someone who's quarter Uchiha and has a family history of outbreeding from the clan is going to be more removed from Indra than someone who's lineage has been quite strong and pure throughout the generations with slight outbreeding.

Actually, what's even weirder is that the Uchiha during Obito's childhood and teenage years, lived scattered throughout the village rather than in a district. And canonically, Obito didn't have a grandmother. When his parents died, he was pretty much alone in the house as a baby, and didn't even have an aunt or uncle to live with.

Whatever is in the manga, for me Indra will always have spiral eyes, but thats just my opinion or something i believe.
And as far as i remember, wasnt Obito kinda like Asura but still Indra because he was Uchiha? Indra was never evil until BZ manipulation him and even sharingan influence.
