well Kishi hyped the heck out of them during early part 1 and had Neji in particularly be some high class prodigy that was above and beyond like Gaara and Lee

What uchiha clan? They all dead. Hyuga are currently the most powerful clan in konoha. Also kaguya's technique was listed as jyuuken, so it's a hyuga technique albeit far more powerful. Amenowhatever is a rinnegan power not sharingan.

So because Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Obito, Hinata, Neji, Madara, Nagato, Itachi, and Kaguya have major flaws in the way their characters were handled, Kishimoto intended it to be that way? Or rather, was it an oversight and/or a mistake on his part due to his writing skills?

Why a mistake? Get real. The logic is simple, if the author created the characters to be like that for the sake of plot, we just have to eat it up and stop with the fanfic. It doesn't matter if you wanted it to be any different, the facts are in the manga, not in your head.

Flaws or not, mistakes or not, the characters are what they are, just deal with it.

PS even if you considered the SasuSaku family as a clan, you literally not only have to face the NaruHina family (since you added them into this battle even though they aren't actually part of a clan) but also the whole entire Hyuga clan as well.

So even when you have this family combat (since that is what it is... not a clan battle) you got like what? An actual clan to fight afterwards.

So far we only know those that you listed, like everyone else in the clan went on Holiday.

Naruto, Sasuke and Lee are not a clan. Just because there's individuals that can defeat the clan, doesn't change the fact that they're the strongest clan in Konoha currently.

You seem to be missing the point entirely.

Uchiha Clan came from the Indra line via Hagoromo, and the Senju came from the Ashura line via Hagoromo.

And the Hyuuga Clan came from the Hamura line via Kaguya.

Yet - The Byakugan is still presented exceptionally weaker than the rest. It doesn't make any sense IMO.

I wouldn't mind if it was stronger, I don't need to be the strongest thing in the world. But it's hardly that different from regular clans established in the series, while the lore itself ties with the strongest clans in the lore.

That itself is dumb.

Nah, how could be born with it if chakra did not exist prior to her eating the fruit? The Byakugan uses 360 field vision and is able to see chakra so clearly.

I think the reason why the Ootutsuki have the Byakugan is because of Hamura. He carried the Ootutsuki bloodline with the Byakugan.

Could it be possible one part of the Ootutsuki went to the moon but a small faction stayed on earth. Some just went to other dimensions or something?
