I'm having a discussion with a buddy of mine, so I need some outside opinions.

I'm talking about the contents inside of the eye. Not the outside bits, because they are drawn by two different people obv.

Drawing differences, the content seems the same. It is not exactly something easy to judge due to the lack of resolution.

Thank you. I was talking with someone who thought Boruto Chapter's 1 Dojutsu was a 'Byakugan' despite it not having veins, and the Animator who animated Boruto v. Kawaki -- Released a semi-colored drawing of Teen Boruto, with a clear eye as well.

So I was wondering why this poster was denying that they looked about similar. Obviously they are differences, as the artists themselves are not the same. But the contents look about similar.

A mark, scar, and clear eye with a round pupil.

Couldn't be because there was no veins.

plus those markings cover any potential ink strokes in the first place

The difference I see between the two is the size of the inner ring within the eyeball. The first one is slightly bigger than the inner ring from the second one and doesn't look like a byakugan. Though that could be due to the size of the images posted.
