Boruto (anime) is just disappointing right now and new ep is the worst so far for me

.The new Swordsmen and other villains are lackluster. Now, we have a wannabe Akatsuki for this copy past gen that are progressing way too easily without struggling to do.

The new Swordsmen are definitely a disappointment. They hold no weight and are getting easily taken out.

.The plot has no substance. It doesn't have a sense of danger really. Idk. I guess that's just me.

.The fights could be better. Again, I don't really sense the danger, plus they're too predictable.

Plus, can we have just one villain who does not bow down to Talk No Jutsu and rekt shit.

This right here is what makes your entire thread meaningless. I respect your opinion and agree to an extent, but (as harsh as it may sound) this comment right here makes you a hypocrite. If you clearly find far more negatives to something than positives then simply stop supporting it (I'm assuming you watch it for free on this site, but the point still stands). I got tired of DBS making up power scaling on an episode-to-episode basis, so I stopped watching the anime. I'm f*cking pissed off that more and more full priced games come shipped with microtransactions up the ass, so I stopped buying games that include them. I get that with anime the majority of the viewership is in Japan, so anywhere other than that demographic won't change much, but learn to put your money where your mouth is. There are plenty of ways to stay up to date with the show that doesn't involve wasting your own time watching every episode, don't be sheep.

btw I'm not bashing you. Just speaking the truth.

Nah fair criticism and points although hypocrite is a stretch you can criticise something and simultaneously still enjoy it. I liked the Sumire arc, Gaiden was old news of course so that was whatever and the beginning of this arc made me somewhat interested but just declined rapidly. Only recently did negatives outweigh positives for me and by "i'll obvs still watch" I meant more broadly speaking I'll continue to watch Boruto in general (misleading I know sorry). But yeah I'm honestly not going to watch the rest of this arc with the knowledge now that it's both 99% filler and pretty bad in the same way I skipped bad filler in Naruto. This last ep was the tipping point.

Have you watched most recent ep? Naruto is just pretty much getting roughed up by Kagura for half the episode.

And are the new swordsmen confirmed genin?? Btw I was under the impression that they should have been almost no challenge to the Mizukage not the other way around and yet he got pinned and wounded.

And who cares if she seems stronger? It's inconsistent, lacks little explanation and is just handled poorly. It's textbook powercreep and you clearly can't recognise the simple basis of my argument. This powercreep trivialises the significance of previous powers earlier in Naruto. No shit the story isn't about Naruto and Sasuke, but believe it or not it sits on the same timeline and as such is still meant to maintain a level of consistency.

It's filler anyway so don't feel too compelled to defend it xx
