This reasoning baffles me to this day. When is it a bad thing to have too much of a story?

It's probably the thread title and post which is odd if it was directed at those who already watch it or following it. Secondly comparison with Naruto in that wording suggests that OP is addressing people who have watched whole Naruto series or assumes everyone has. So it makes no sense that you think that those very people shouldn't be posting here.

Frankly it's has too many episodes for my liking too and it doesn't help that they drag the scenes in each episodes making them feel even longer- I had watched early arcs. So I read manga only.

Naruto had good action on but in the end fillers bogged down that too. Those who had been watching it on weekly basis to begin with,are probably the ones who watched all of it. Tell anyone to start watching it now and they will think of the time involved before starting Naruto too. But in comparison to OP, Naruto is still shorter. One piece started before Naruto and still ongoing-meaning a lot more longer and more episodes to catch up.

Unfortunately I hated the old anime graphics. Just like I hate old video games now. And I am pretty old so you'd think I'd like those things but I like to adapt and all the new graphics and the way everything looks better and clearer is more appealing to me. The old one pice, first couple seasons, look like an American cartoon from the 90s. And I HATE cartoons. Would much rather watch one piece now then before. I've actually watched for recent episodes than older ones as I couldn't sit through the old ones
