But Kaguya seemed genuinely crazed and had her mind in BZ, an objective blob of objective, actual evil. It'd be hypocritical of Naruto to exclude the Ootsutsuki because they're from a different place.

Kinshiki was killed by the Kage and sacrificed his own life whilst Momoshiki simply left them no other option. I think it works, how do you feel on the way he handled Toneri?

I think the evil sensing buries that under the bridge. There is zero reasoning with BZ, and that was all that was left of Kaguya's mind really. Momoshiki and Kinshiki's only motivation is to devour worlds...so there's little to work with there, but yeah- he didn't even ask.

Undeveloped villains remain undeveloped. I do agree that they were both defeated and the Kages were going for a defeat & capture mission though.

I had that same thought process too. Though, he did recklessly try to destroy Earth... Still, I understand where he was coming from, I guess his saving grace was the Tenseigan which might have corrupted him a bit. I dunno.

As long as he's a good guy I'm fine, if it turns out he double crosses Naruto in the future, that won't look good lol.

That's kind of my worry. It's hard to build the story different from Naruto's story, when every possible outcome is being resolved almost the same.

Granted I understand that the focus of these Arcs aren't that serious yet, as no one has been killed nor has a War started. But I would hate for them to still be cookie-cutter ninjas who don't do what needs to be done, for the sake of goals or stereotypes.

Killing should be warranted under the case that it's deserved, for sure. I hope this doesn't hold the series back like Naruto.

Shikamarus is an adviser, nothing more. It's sasuke's active contributions during his travels that effectively minimize whatever it is they deal with. Neither him or Naruto are killas.

My guess is:

Mitsuki (I guess he needs a role to play??), Shikadai (cause he needs any more reasons to not be a Shikamaru clone right?), Boruto (who knows at this point TBH), Cho-Cho (just saying this for the LULZ), or possibly someone from the old generation.

Does domestic life suit him? I can imagine him having Ibiki's job but in the Hokage office seems strange. So yeah, i'm going to go with Ino.

I kind of want to rule Boruto in and out because if he wants to play that support role in Sasuke's sense, he might not always be in the Village. Even when Sasuke is in the Village, Shikamaru still plays his vital role alongside Naruto, so its not like Sasuke replaces him either.

So Boruto is either going to play Sasuke's role only to Sarada, or he'll play both Sasuke and Shikamaru's role.

Flip side being Mitsuki, if he accommodates with domestic life like he's doing now, I don't see a reason for him not to help out. His whole purpose is being by Boruto's side, but at some point that's going to be near impossible. So I guess the next best thing is him finding his own purpose, which might be helping Sarada out. I mean it would make him more interesting than his cheer-leading thing he has going on IMO.

If not either, Shikadai by default. I would rather have an oldie though. Maybe Asuma's daughter?
