Was rewatching some of my favorite episodes. When zoro stands up to mihawk and gets destroyed. And finished the arc and gin has yet to show up again. Oda always brings back characters for early days of the manga would be cool to see him again. And I don't see a place for him in sanjis arc but it would be fitting he gets to return the favor he owes sanji by helping him out a jam. It's not gunna happen. So when you think we will see him. And are there any other characters that haven't been brought back yet. Like the guy in the treasure box. Maybe the crew will see on the way back from raftle

He'll be lucky if he even gets to appear in cover art.

I liked Gin as well, but I'm afraid we won't see him again because he pretty much was already a weakling in his own arc. It doesn't help that he will need to come to the New World.

So I think there are three options for him, (if he survived the gas in the first place).

1) We will see him fighting off some fodder in a couple of panels with some other throwback characters
2) He joins the Baratie after escaping from Krieg's grasp and changes his way and comes full circle after being inspired by Sanji's mentality
3) He is now leader of the Krieg pirates and sails in the first part of the Grand Line.

He's probably dead unfortunately, it doesn't seem like he made it.

Legit fake-ass One Piece fans.

What a dumb post. Bet your ass don't even remember the name of this bandit that kidnapped Luffy when he was a kid and tried to attack Shanks and his crew without googling it.

The Baratie arc started around chapter 42, while we are currently on chapter 881, not to mention he was never even an important character and was barely relevant for no more than 20 chapters. There are also no main characters in this story called Gin while the name Gin is pretty common in manga and anime, which threw me for a loop because I don't remember any character in this story called Gin, so it must have been someone pretty irrelevant.

Why would anyone remember a nameless fodder who appeared only one chapter/one episode compared to a guy who appeared a whole arc?

The hell? Sanji lost against him, so he wasn't weak, unless you mean mentally weak for not being able to kill Sanji.

Maybe arc was the wrong word and saga would be better. But I mean he wasn't special. Sure he got Sanji downed but Luffy was also still there just looking what Gin would do, he could've intervened at any time. One island later Sanji was showing his capabilities against a fishman. I very much doubt when Sanji was on his back he was already down for the count, because the bigger moral here was that Sanji beat him with his kindness as opposed to Don Krieg.

Second strongest in his arc but he is already outclassed in the east blue saga.

So he maybe he was close to monster trio level at his introduction. But there is no way that still holds up in the New World. Therefore I only see him coming back as a familiar face ending his story line with a few panels.

To be fair, Sanji took a beating from the pearl guy before he fought Gin to protect the Baratie.

Do we have to ? I mean he was aight character in his arc but i see no reason for him to re-appear. Don't mind aye, just my opinion.

Weve already seen krieg swear his allegiance to luffy, and gin wasn't there
