Boruto Uzumaki is the protagonist of the Boruto series, and the son of Naruto Uzumaki. He’s considered to be a genius, and someone who is very talented as well. Boruto, being the son of Naruto Uzumaki, is easily one of the strongest ninjas from the next generation. A lot is expected from someone like him. With Naruto’s guidance, and Sasuke’s training, Boruto is sure to be become a very powerful character. He has the skill and the talent to be a wonderful shinobi.

However, even though Boruto is a lot talented, he has some gift as well. Even as a Genin, he a lot of chakra, which likely comes from him Uzumaki clan lineage.​

Boruto also has received the Jougan, which is the power of the Nine Tails, and the Hyuga clan combined. You can see that unlike Naruto, Boruto Uzumaki has many gifts. But, the biggest of them all is certainly the Otsutsuki chakra. Boruto hasn’t awakened the Otsutsuki chakra yet.​

He has already received the Curse Seal from Momoshiki Otsutsuki. It is possible that Boruto Uzumaki will awaken the Six Paths chakra due to that.​

Right now, Boruto doesn’t have any control on his Curse Seal, so it won’t be possible for him. But, in the future, he is sure to awaken this power. In his battle with Kawaki, he had full control over his seals.

But, that’s not the only way Boruto can get Six Paths abilities. Boruto has probably Inherited some of Hagoromo’s chakra that was within Naruto. Meanwhile, he also has the chakra of Hamura from Hinata Hyuga. When you combine Hagoromo and Hamura’s chakra, you get Kaguya’s chakra.

If Boruto does indeed awaken Kaguya Otsutsuki’s chakra, he will get extremely powerful, and may even surpass Naruto Uzumaki himself. Without a doubt, Boruto Uzumaki will one day reach the same level as his father, and so him getting the Six Paths chakra is almost obvious.

That was never said. Jougan's ability to sense evil intent was merely compared to Kurama's ability to sense evil intent.

Six Paths Chakra comes from the Chakra Fruit, not Hagoromo. Hence why Hamura has it as well. And since Momoshiki and Kinshiki eat Chakra fruits, they do have Six Paths Chakra.

But Hinata's genes in terms of chakra/skills dominated Naruto's genes. Boruto doesn't have Naruto's huge chakra reserves.

And so most likely he inherited Hinata's Hamura Chakra hence he awakened an all new eye.

Can't we get know more about "marks" and the "jougan"...nothing six paths-ish...We've been there, done that. As as we clearly know, the So6P was not the first to have the rinnegan abilities, etc.
