If they are already hinting older Boruto like the flash forward, then I suspect we'll be heading towards the time skip eventually in the Manga within the next few years. Maybe by 2019.

I can't see "Boruto" hitting 10 years of run time. The story is already laid out via Naruto, so they don't have to do extra work.

I have to agree. Bourto was always like sasuke and since hes the MC the banwagon of denial is strong. Sasuke = bourto with yellow hair. They are the the smal charater just a different point in time.

Exactly. Why do people confuse the two then? When did Boruto say "he wants to be exactly like Sasuke?" to make statements like this?

She actually said in one Arc that she wanted to be a shinobi like Naruto. Prob wasn't canon but I wouldn't be surprised if they have her repeat it in the Manga .

Boruto clarified that he wanted to Support the Hokage tho, which was his goal. However, Sasuke and Boruto actually have a relationship where he trains him.

So you can't really run away from that fact. They are bound to be more similar at the end.

I just say it:

The anime will take the lead and the time skip will happen in around the same time as Naruto's, so after 130 episodes. 100 more episodes = two years until the time skip.
