Use this scenario for a fair comparison. Two normal shinobi born into the world.

One was born with the EMS, the special chakra, jutsus and everything that comes with it.

One was born with the Byakugan, the special chakra, jutsus and everything that comes with it.


Who would become stronger and why?


Most agree the EMS shinobi is much stronger. Much much stronger.

Course not. To our knowledge the Byakugan can at the very best be argued to surpass three tomoe Sharingan by itself, but in no way in hell is it stronger than an EMS.

My personal beleif is 1 defeats jutsu the other defeats chakra. They're actually pretty balanced if developed to their peaks.

I also think kishi should've made a rivalry between Hyuga/Uchiha and the senju as the peace makers.

The byakugan loses to a PS pretty handily. Hell it loses to a regular Susano'o. It might even lose without a Susano'o involved depending on the user's MS abilities.

One is born with EMS and one is born with Byakugan who becomes stronger. Shouldn't be a hard question to answer. Everyone else is doing fine. Whats your gripe?

Nope, it is obviously not. But the Byakugan/Gentle Fist had a lot of potential to be a very powerful Doujtsu that could even rival the EMS but it simply lacked the development it needed.

I am sure Hamura had a lot of OP Gentle Fist techniques that made him capable of fighting Kaguya herself and probably on par with Rinnegan Hagoromo.
