If you're talking about when Yugito had her hands pierced by a rod, that was just to keep her captive While Hidan did his religious bs. They defeated Yugito offscreen, and after she fell unconscious or maybe while she was still conscious they pinned her on the wall with a normal rod. It didn't suppress any bijuu chakra.

Suigetsu wins low-mid diff. Hidan literally CANNOT win this fight. The only reason the difficulty is above neg is because Hidan wont go down easy due to him not being athletically outmatched. It may take a while, but Sui inevitably wins for obvious reasons.

And how exactly did they beat nibi ? Why were they known as the " monster combo" ? Bcuz of kakuzu's jutsu ? Nah. Definitely bcuz of hidan . You could see in that panel yugito's hands were pierced with a black rod and hidan was doing a ceremony . His power is basically a very basic form of yin-yang as it takes life from others and gives it to the stealer . Data book states his ceremonies are the reason he is immortal , if he stops killing he basically dies .
Pain's rod and his rod does the same thing and the manga already states black rods which suppress opponents are physical manifestations of the will of say ; the rikudou sage and the like .
Consider the fact that jinchuuriki's cannot be killed before extracting the bijuu so of course , he suppressed the bijuu's power inside her with the rod as she was not dead . Otherwise the nibi would've broken out of it .

They were known as the "Zonbi Conbi (Zombie Duo)" because of their immortality.
Pains rods, and Hidan's rods are not the same thing, not even close man. You're grasping on unbearably thin straws with no type of actual canonical proof.
The Two-Tails wasn't surpressed by Hidan's rods, she was beaten into submission, as has happened with Gaara, and the rest of the captured Jin.
Hidan's rods are just ordinary rods, that's all man lol.

And if 4 tails can get beated in submission by kisame;three tails by diedara why won't two tails be defeated by hidan and kakuzu without tail beast submission ability lmao

Suigetsu takes this and doesn't even have blood? Hidan doesnt have any jutsu, and taijutsu only wont work.

i never said she was dead, only unconscious. They could have beaten her in any number of ways, the didn't show us. They're known as the zombie combo because they both have a level of immortality and are hard to kill.
Look. What you're saying is impossible. Only Rinnegan users have access to the chakra receivers. That's a fact. They beat her until she was barely alive, and then cruelly hung her there by her hands with a black stake. Why is that so hard to believe? You're making up all these theories that don't exist when the answer is extremely simple.

Iam not grasping at straws actually . I've given enough proof on how it's the same type of rods . Not trying to start an argument but manga facts and showings dont lie .
Also you say they were beaten down but I also wanna know how ...... with kakuzu's elements ? What kind of special jutsu do they've in thier arsenal to beat a bijuu itself ? They're not pain nagato . Or kisame with the chakra absorption. They got literally nothing to beat a bijuu which has almost 100 times thier chakra and power . That rod as my analysis goes is the only way .
Or give me a reason why hidan gave his prayers after piercing yugito ?
If they had beaten the bijuu to submission , why pierce it with a rod ? They werent going to kill it any ways like asuma . Why was such a scene necessary ?

Okay one more evidence , kakuzu and hidan were off to the leaf to capture nine tails kyuubi .
How do you think they'd possibly do that ? With thier jounin-level arsenal ? If pain didnt believe they couldnt capture nine tails , he wouldnt have send them to the leaf to capture naruto .
You are lol. I'll try to explain this as simple as possible my man.
1. You've given no proof as to how Hidan's immortality which is a Kinjutsu, is linked to the black rods. If his rod was in relation to the black rods, such would've been stated canonically.
2. They defeated Yugito the same way all the other Jin are capable of being beaten, through force, through harm, through pain. They used their jutsu. Yugito was no perfect Jin, she entered partial transformation, and she was beaten out of it like Naruto did Gaara.
3. The reason for the ritual was because Hidan played a major factor in subduing her. This is how it went: Kakuzu pressures Yugito enough to draw blood -> Hidan prepares circle & takes blood -> stabs himself -> subdued Yugito. Her being pinned up was byproduct of their altercation, and Hidan is known for praying to Jashin as he's done multiple times in the manga.
4. You do realize that at that current stage, they could've captured Naruto correct? Especially when their abilities were unknown at the time. That's what makes them so OP (mainly thanks to Hidan, because without his ability killing/capturing Jin would be much more difficult). If they'd confronted Naruto in that arc, Kakuzu, or Hidan would've pressured Naruto, and drawn blood before he entered his enraged, Kyubi state, and then Hidan would've stabbed himself stupid to subdue Naruto. Hidan's immortality jutsu is what allows the duo to capture Jin so accurately, because no matter what state they are in, even if Hidan cannot pierce through them with direct attacks, due to being connected through his ritual, whatever he feels, they feel.
So if he were to pierce his heart, the Jin would die, no matter the form. Or if he were to pierce his thigh, or whatever else, the Jin would be handicapped etc. You saying they didn't possess the abilities to capture a Jin strictly goes against the manga's portrayal of the Akatsuki. After all why would Pain recruit members unable to capture/harm Jin? He wouldn't. Clearly.
So in the end, no, Hidan's rods aren't connected to the black rods. End of story man.

You said they pressurized the bijuu .... what if it spot out a tailed beast bomb ? Even naruto in his imperfect four tail mode could do it .
And your saying it was an imperfect bijuu control even though she could manifest the full tailed beast form ?

Why should hidan do those ceremonies meaninglessly ? Hidan's jutsu is a curse technique like the one danzo used . He always takes the black rod to pierce himself to hurt the victim . Do you think it has no meaning ?
It's also stated it's the "only curse of its kind" which means an extremely rare jutsu and also he got it after entering the jashin religion .
And do you know from where chakra rods come from ? The gedo statue . It's not the product of a rinnegan .
Another version of the chakra rod comes from the juubi senjutsu ; both are technically the same as gedo mazou is the shell of the juubi . And juubi is called " The god Tree" .
So what's wrong in implying hidan got those rods from jashin ? Jashin is a real god . Like the fire temple deity . He wouldn't simply pierce her of course .
And youre saying hidan can take blood ? How ? Bijuus dont have blood and can tank kakuzu level of damage . My point still stands

Nope . You know that I clearly dont think hidan has the rinnegan yet you accuse me of that .
It's already proven that the black rods come from the God tree which is the Ten-tails .
Never was it stated to use black rods you need rinnegan or you try proving it .
Jashin is also a god like it's stated hidan got his curse technique after following the jashin religion .
You do know that pain doesnt have the sensation of pain because of the black rods ? Because they aren't really dead bodies because they are revived through the king of hell , not repaired . The pains also have blood . So it's not bcuz they're dead , they do not feel pain , it's bcuz they've the black rods stuck on thier body .
Hidan too doesnt feel pain .
Rinnegan has nothing to do with black rods as they're the physical manifestation of the user's will .
You cannot say the " but it has never been stated " excuse , bcuz even shikamaru and choji's nature release were stated in the fourth data book , it has never been stated in the manga .
Thier is no reason yugito was pierced , if it wasnt to restrain the tailed beast , tailed beasts can easily break out of all kinds of barriers except some really high level sealing jutsu which kakuzu-hidan do not have .
The scythe and rod is also attached to his body and he has the power to take life with curse technique by piercing his body with that rod all the time .
How can you say it's not the same . Also deidara fought an incomplete bijuu , if it was full shukaku , then he wouldve stood no chance .
