[Discussion] reasons for why borsalino was nominated for fleet admiral?

Do you guys think he is inferior to kuzan? And if he is then that means he would also be weaker than akainu, but I don't know if I really believe that. So I was just wondering what others thought about what some reasons would be for him not being nominated.

^This is literally the reason why. Borsalino is very capable and in terms of devil fruit ability he's more dangerous than Kuzan and Sakazuki.

Well that's completely false lol , going by the Manga kuzan and sakazuki have both shown more dangerous feats. So if light is > magma and ice, that would mean kuzan and sakazuki are better users of their respective fruits which in turn would make their fruit more powerful as the user has a lot to do with it

He can't tell the difference between the Den Den Mushi, went too far to capture pirates(uprooted mangroves, which act as buildings, for no reason on Saboady), and pretended to be threatened by Beckman because he found it funny, allowing the Heart Pirates to get away with Luffy(also stopped chasing them after just one attack, saying "Well, if they got away, they got away"). He's not really fit for that level of leadership.

For one. Borsalino is able to move at the speed of light in linear movement and it takes time for him to begin this process to the point Rayleigh blitzed it. Valid reason why he lost to Rayleigh maybe Sakasuki is able to best him in a similar situation too.

Ahh yeah, I think sakazuki is mostly as strong as he is because of durability tbh, but with the newbhaki and feats, his gura gura tanking isn't much of a feat anymore according to most members xD

He probably has good extensive control over his devil fruit. Most logias are not portrayed to be tanks or physically stronger from what we've seen so it's no surprise two gura gura punches would leave him head down on the floor, but I'm sure for the other two admirals they would be in an even worse condition. Maybe he has better durability than kuzan and borsalino because he seemed like he did in the paramount war.

The only thing that leaves in question is that how kuzan was able to keep up with sakasuki and damage him in their fight? I'm sure Oda will uncover that later.

Well because fire is a plasma it can't really be frozen, but since magma is liquid kuzan could probably keep up to a extent. And my theory on how kuzan hurt akainu like that is that he probably did some kinda absolute zero technique at his neck in a final attempt to win haha. Absolute zero would be a cool awakening for the ice fruit

I noticed before that each admiral have his own justice, and Kizaru is following his own justice known as "Unknown Justice" which it's a scary idea.

Akainu (Absolute Justice)
Aokiji (Lazy Justice)
Kizaru (Unknown justice)

Unless Oda does something crazy and say Kuzan's awakening can freeze time temporarily, that'll be ****ed. What would Absolute zero do in your opinion?

Absolute zero would kinda be like the ice captains bankai. He can freeze anything temporarily in a split second. Something like that
