I responded by informing you that it wasn't a bad choice since it allowed for more animation then you went on saying the animation is bad which was ignorant. I never "attacked" your opinion of not liking it (rather I informed you) but I did reject you saying the animation is bad since that's totally not true.

Actually I've seen a lot of people liking Misty's design and calling it cute. This is kinda the first where I saw someone upset with Misty's design.

It's not a big change like Ash was and her character (along with every other) will be more animated/express as ever before. So it's a choice between character designs that are static most times or ones that are very expressive.

I stated my opinion but I like the new designs more. The old designs were good but I want to see more animation.

How can anybody hate this detailed, expressive animation? Pokemon finally has a style that suits it's casual exploration tone and the battle choreography is unreal.

, so to change her into some Disney cartoon for toddlers is disappointing.

The animation can be watchable sure, but that doesn't detract from the fact that they ruined how the original Misty looks, and how I liked seeing her back in the original pokemon. The original pokemon series might not be better animated than this, but the characters do look much worse for me.

It's definitely different but not ruined. Those original designs are not as good and definitely don't fit/work with Alola's vibe. Even just adding a costume change won't really work IMO. I like this cartoony look it has.
