And i'm one of those still wondering wether it was an inside job or not.

Many people are being burned in Myanmar , ISIS is killing too many people , Israel has always had problems with Muslims , etc .

Yeah. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. It's a complete cluster****.

None of these are going to be remembered after 16 years ...

Didn't know you came from the future. Please tell me, what else happens 16 years from now?

Didn't know you're funny asf .
But on a serious note ; ppl don't remember Nigeria terrorism anymore (2 years ago ; imagine what happens in 16 years ? ppl won't ****ing know what was it about) ...
Almost nobody cares about Yemen (this is happening right now ; imagine what happens in 16 years)

Unfortunately , Your life isn't worthy if you were born in a poor country ...

Untrue. The shit in haiti is still remembered.

So are the genocides in Africa.

This is so true, we still haven't paid Black people reparations and we mistreat non-White minorities.

But you do remember it, don't you? And know what's going on in Yemen. Aren't you among people?

Grudging other people for not forgetting their own losses and victims and expect them to not even talk about it on the memorial day, since it's been 16 years isn't how it works. If one is not allowed to remember their own, why would they care for yours?

People in the original sentence would refer to people all around the globe.

In a general sense, everyone from everywhere knows about 9/11 and its tragedy, but the point is that if it had happened anywhere else in the world, it would have long been forgotten. Whether this is wrong or right, that's not the point, if I had to label it with a point though, that would be that maybe by now everybody should've moved on.

False assumption.

Everyone remembers the incident they had lost something rather and prefer to skip the part where they caused others to lose something.

I know people in my country keep talking about major events from 70s,80s, 90s, 2000 even now- at the drop of hat. Even our neighboring countries keep talking about it from their own perspectives. Same goes for other countries too. It's funny that people expect Americans to forget and don't even mention 9/11 on the memorial day. But I assure you they would have remember something of that scale and iconic in their country too, especially if they were alive at the tie or their near and dear ones were affected in some way.

A few incidents stand out more than the rest for us but everything is there. It's all in the pages of history-be it contemporary or older.

Never forget 9/11 but forget slavery.

Funny that you mention that when they teach everyone in school about it and we have groups of people still living in the past *****ing about slavery. But did you know that blacks weren't the only slaves in history? I'm assuming that's the slavery you're referring to. It's the only one everyone brings up. Even though everyone forgot about it uh?

This is so true, we still haven't paid Black people reparations and we mistreat non-White minorities.

Yeah i'm pretty sure I know what you're doing.
