no one is whiny...you are just comparing a typical shonen element thinking it's Naruto's copy...
by your logic everything is Naruto copy then >_> Black Clover has a whole different ring than Naruto...though main objectives are similar everything else is different.
I can give you at least one more example of another shonen which is like Naruto but at the same time...isn't.

Again BC and Naruto have similar ideas but attack it differently.
First of BC has mages...Naruto has ninjas.
Every mage in some way has a unique magic where in Naruto everyone is using same and other variations of same jutsu.
MC has different magic than everyone else which again is different than Naruto...he has Demon Fox but still uses same jutsu as everyone else does or a variation of it.
How come you aren't saying Boku no Hero Academia is a copy and paste of Naruto?

All shonen manga are similar in one way or another. I mean it's a basic formula. Young male main character+a goal to be the best+unique abilities+a rival that either hates you or was your childhood friend= Shonen Manga. Then the creator adds his own touches threw world building.
I do think BC is a manga that was inspired a lot by Naruto but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The creator knew Naruto was ending and a lot of those people were going to look for something to transition to. And boom a story the gives you the feel of a Naruto and is at the same time different.

I get what your saying. Things that go off the rails a bit or try to be different are amazing an fun to read. But they all have shonen qualities even if they are very small. But everyone is allowed an opinion. My original point was just that Shonen branches off from other shonen from the past like a family tree. Black Clover is a branch of Narutos and that's fine.
Speaking of Naruto....Shueisha officially said that they want Black Clover to be the next Naruto.
I hope this doesn't end up like the Toriko situation where they pushed Toriko up with Dragon Ball/One Piece with the crossovers.

I know but what I'm saying is that not most shonens follow that trend....especially to Black Clover's extent.
Wow, BC has like 120ish chapters atm? Yeah it could definitely be a long runner lol. For comparison, Toriko had around 135 chapters when the anime first aired and the anime ended up being a long runner.hopefully anime will still be seasonal(((((((
Now that Shueisha said they want BC to be the next Naruto, it could very well mean this will be a long running anime.
