I'm a bit confused why mighty guys leg can't be healed but do you think sakura will figure out a way to fix him

I say sakura because that would be a pretty big feat for her to accomplish

And without the use of his legs he won't be able to be as great taijutsu fighter as he once was

That's true. It would be a big feat for Sakura but that might make Tsunade more relevant. She's forgotten in Boruto. At least Sakura in on screen. Better yet, have them both work together to develop a treatment that can help Gai.

Tsunades already an accomplished ninja sakuras only a copy of tsunade she needs accomplishments and ones that put her above tsunade.

Sakura has been doing pretty good and could probably already surpass Tsunade. She's accomplished in her own way- she founded a children's clinic. I believe that counts as an accomplishment and not only having her cure someone that seemed incurable before. Sure, skills are important but other things are as important for character development.

Did you miss the part where Narujesus did his Creation of All Things deal with his seal to keep Gai from dying and restoring Kakashi's original eye back during the war arc?

His leg had already started to turn to ash before naruto healed him, as we saw with obito there's no coming back from that even with narutos healing.

Right before naruto shows up when mads shoots the tsb at gai, it shows his leg start to crumble like the rest of him was supposed to before he was healed. Naruto got there a second to late to save his foot

Sakura has a relationship with the otsutsuki , Im sure and also with hashirama as she was compatible with that seal and the markings of byakugou are same as hashirama's sage mode, so I think she can create a leg for gai as she has hashirama's ability of healing wounds instantly and there is also proof that the haruno clan exists as its symbol was foreshadowed in part 1 in chapter 7. She has untapped potential

Healing Rock Lee was a risk because so many bone shards were in his spine.

Healing Gai's foot is the same as his bone/foot completely shattered and piecing that back together in itself is impossible for a none byakugo user.

Tsunade and Sakura may be able to do unbelievable things with byakugo for themselves. For other people they have limitations. That's just the way it is.
