you unlock the GF KKG when you unlock the byakugan

you then combine the two with a marriage of taijutsu to make the Gentle Fist Taijutsu


Himawari couldn't have learnt how to seal a chakra point let alone be able to seal the whole system when she didn't have a byakugan before

therefore she couldn't see the points

they are ridiculously small and need precision


let alone sealing a WHOLE system of a Jinjuriki no less with one poke, seconds after unlocking her eyes (Neji couldn't with 64, not sure about part 2 Neji since his 64 in the chunin exams was self taught)


she is an exception and a quick learner

Techniques (Rotation, Full Body Blow, Air Palm, Twin Lion Fist etc.) are not abilities, first of all, let's establish that.

Sealing chakra points is a Byakugan technique, I can take that, but conceived techniques like Rotation and Air Palm that the clan conceals from its clansmen are not abilities of the Byakugan. If they were, all side branch members could do Rotation/Air Palm upon awakening their Byakugan.

I am not saying when you unlock the byakugan you get a skill tree of Gentle Fist moves

I am saying you awaken the chakra KKG in your body that allows you to learn these moves and that using these moves to their fullest and with accuracy requires the byakugan (360, seeing chakra, seeing points, etc...)

the taijutsu is taught, hence why Boruto does it without the other two gene based KKG

but Boruto ain't doing any rotations or sealing points or even doing vacuum palm (for now since the Jougan likely will get all the byakugan feats as well and if by anything Boruto getting regular byakugans is on the same footing as Sarada getting MS)

Just because it's clan specific does not mean that it is a bloodline limit, and what examples of the Databook do you have about things not being labeled as so? Also, Himawari just happened to use Gentle Fist after awakening the eye because she can then pinpoint where to strike. Nothing says she didn't have the ability to expel chakra from all her pressure points before that?

Also, Himawari just happened to use Gentle Fist after awakening the eye because she can then pinpoint where to strike.
