In the realm of fanfic maybe it took among the strongest 2 shinobi in the NV to defeat the Uchiha. Itachi Sama and Tobi(who are by the way Uchiha) Not some unknown fodder. Besides it was the Uchiha name which was known far and wide nobody had heard of the foddermaki even whwn Naruto would be mwntioned nobody cared and said oh an uzumaki.
