Going a bit off topic here and I know it's old news but apparently we could've gotten a reboot of Naruto which is what Ikemoto initially wanted which means we would've never gotten a sequel through Boruto. Do you think with a reboot, they are gonna make huge adjustment to the storyline and give side characters more spotlight and improvement they deserve. With a reboot, the Hyuga could play prominent roles in the story which means more Neji/Hinata gets some chance to shine unlike Kishi version of Naruto where its always centered focus around chasing after Sasuke??

A reboot so soon would be uncalled for. You also have to consider that a reboot could have meant anything from as simple as adding more detail and fleshing out the story to as grand as changing the setting and even origins and background of characters. I am very certain many people would not be pleased with large changes like that, nor would they be happy with small changes since it would be largely the same.
Personally, I think we dodged a bullet with that and I'm fine with having a Half-Hyuga protagonist with an upcoming army of Byakugan users.
That said, my reboot idea of Naruto = the best. I think I made a thread on it already, but I am hoping to make a new one with more ideas.

A Naruto remake would work better after Bolt ends. Which will likely be in 7 years I would hope.

Reboot could be either a hit or miss but yeah Boruto is a much better way to approach cause honestly I felt so burnt out watching Naruto and his generation after seeing so many rehashes like the filler arc we've had with the "What if scenario" under Tsunade dream and even then it was done so poorly and sloppy.
With Boruto, not only we get the byakugan and the hyuga development and upgrade which is better late than never but also atleast we get to move on with the new era bringing new stuff to the table as well as newly and refined character who were better portrayed than the counterpart of their parents especially when we compare to someone like Sarada and Sakura case. The new gens are far more tolerable to watch; moreover NH gets really good moments as well as the main protagonist to uncover the full potential of the hyuga and the connection with the Ootsutski.
Basically everything is starting to come to our fruition and you know it's the best thing we got cause Naruto left me a pile of shit on my mouth, beside Naruto was already ruined long beforehand so anyone complaining that Boruto ruining Naruto seriously need their eye check.
