well the Hyuga main thing is chakra manipulation and sight so their symbol being it makes sense in a sense

Their symbols are the flame thing and Yin Yang. Both of which are pretty common symbols in Naruto. It might mean somthing, but at the same time, it could also mean nothing.

I want the Hakke connection to come through.

I hope we get to see something like this in Boruto anime but it's probably going to take a while to reach that point. The writer didn't seem to address Neji this early in the story which might mean that in due time, Neji might hold significance to Boruto power.

Boruto would look better as a Hyuga.

By far. It actually makes him look like an original character rather than a sloppy copy-paste. I hope his eyes do turn permanently white down the line. The blue hair also would make him look more Sasuke-esque, which would make sense given them being student-teacher.
