Not really Naruto gained it after gaining kurama's chakra after his battle. It was a power also possessed by Mito who had it from kurama.

Technically MS isn't a Sharingan either because it has a different name and its own set of powers. I don't see why it's any different to Boruto especially considering his power is related to Toneri who wanted the Hyuga's Byakugan.

It's blue like Tenseigan and can see chakra points like Byakugan and it comes from Hyuga DNA, it's not a Byakugan by definition but it's definitely a variant of one like MS is to Sharingan.

Sharingan also requires emotion whereas Byakugan doesn't, the rules for awakening dojutsu are not necessarily the same. In addition the anime episodes have implied Boruto to have Byakugan powers, Toneri contacting him further suggests it.

This is mostly right but jogan = Hyuga blood + Kurama's negative emotion sensing.

It's a way to suggest glowing eyes in a monogromatic manga. The byakugan is white, but Mitsuki eyes are glowing with energy, which is why the lines aren't as pronounce as the byakugan
